Should be as the obv need a PG to distribute....only issue is that it would also likely make them even weaker defensively when now you have Beal or Booker having to guard SFs. But whatever, I don't think there's really any way of solving PHX's problems. Beal is basically the new "Westbrook in LAL" for the Suns but they're STUCK. I guess Kolek should at least try to help them try to simply outscore teams like the Suns used to in Nash days #bringdantonihomelol

It's actually sad how KD's career never really became what it should've.

Not sure what people see in Collier. To me, he's a fast, strong guard that's short, has no vertical athleticism (which will limit his finishing in the NBA) and has a bad jumper. He doesn't even in playmaking either. A less athletic John Wall type is a guy that could be out of the league in a few years IMO. Leif Thulin and Richard Stayman think he's got bust written all over him as well.

I like McCain way more and don't see him as "more of a 2 than a 1". Who isn't? He can drive and kick and shoot and get out of the way--what do they want, John Stockton?

A lot of stuff pointing to ATL / Clingan. They want to move back for him. If they don't hes going to go # 1

I am not sold on the PG options at 31 and for bigs I have even more questions at that stage. I'd probably opt to get even more scoring even if we draft Tyler Smith.

One wing that I am intrigued by is Jaylen Wells. Only 20 years-old, he is a 6-foot-8 wing from Washington State. Reminds me a lot of Trey Murphy who bounced around a bit before having a magic Virginia season where he shot 50/40/90. Wells played in D2 for two years before coming to Washington State.

44/42/81 in his single D1 year
7 BPM
70 made threes

59 TS%
30 FTR
89th percentile on C&S threes
99th percentile out of Spot-Ups

36 max vert; 6'7 w/o shoes and a neutral wingspan. Shot the lights out at the Combine testing.

More importantly he showed well against top competition: 20 points Iowa State (2); 27 points Arizona (4); 27 on UCLA; 11/7/4 Colorado; 17 points on Drake (10). I haven't seen him mocked as high as 31, but he has legit range and probably the most reliable jumper in the college class.

Last year this entire board was screaming for us to get ATL prospects & now this year ATL don't even like their prospects.

Bufkin sucks
OO I thought was solid, more than solid, but why is ATL so in love with Cliganan while already have OO,
JJ is their PF of the future.
A.Griffen trash

I'd take hunter on the cheaps, but I just remember this board vilifying Masai for not sending Pascal to ATL for all those middling prospects & less than a yr later ATL doesn't even like those prospects

Not a fan of the Walter pick, but Flip @ 31 is great value (I'm not the biggest believer in his upside, but tough to see how he fails). If the board falls this way I'd run to the podium to take Collier @ 19.

Walking away with Collier & Flip would change the entire outlook of this team.

I would take Collier at 19 def if there but Flip runs the floor worse than Matt Bonner and worse than Drew Timme. I'll stick with Mo Boards Mogbo at 31 hands down. And sign Timme to Summer League. Filipowski may play the game reasonably well but his athletic ability does not even look nba.

It is kind of like Pascal was overrated, and the packages we got were sort of meh, but fitting for a guy on the last year of his deal. I really wanted Bogdanovic, but I am not sure with such a young team we would do a similar gamble.

I really like his potential but it is all about how he performs in a workout because his conference stunk and he rarely played good teams. My hope comes from the combine where he showed well amongst the real peers in his class.

I think the shooting translates and he was one of the better at self-creation in this class. He had 47 FTR, 28 AST% and 31 Usage so he took care of the ball and got to the basket. People will doubt his shot because it was low volume on threes. Given his size and ability, it is not impossible for him to be like a Andrew Nembhard type but it is a stretch.

Another player I really like at 31. He just seems to play the right way. I don’t think he’ll hurt you in the NBA. I’d say on the low end he’s Garrett Temple and on the high end he’s Derrick White. Not bad for the 2nd round imo

NOP offers Ingram and MIL 2024 FRP (pick 21) for Kelly and RJ. Are you taking that?

We’d have to pay Ingram ~40 million so it’s do you think he’s worth 12 million more than RJ and is losing Kelly for the 21st pick worth it?

Absolutely not, this makes no sense for either team

imagine paying top-10 money to some of these guys

the teams up top want to trade down but are looking for non-2024 draft compensation from teams looking to move up.
