I thought I was the only one who sees star when talking Coward. His shot creation is elite, and he absolutely killed the combine. Hes been my guy at #9 for awhile.

Could just be one guy making a few $100 bets across a couple of accounts rather than actual news.

I would be furious with Coward. Moreso than Maluach or Bailey.

Interesting... I see Fears as this years most underrated player in the draft. Would take him 3rd. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being one of the best players in the league. Hoping he is one of those lottery guys who just slips too far.. Steph Curry (7th pick), SGA (11th pick), Haliburton (12th), Lillard (6th)

Heading into the draft three of those four guys were elite shooters, and SGA had great size and athleticism for a guard. Fears has...?

You haven't watched much Fears have you?

He's a small guard who can't shoot and doesn't have jaw dropping athleticism.

we could trade down. but if maluach is on the board and then we trade down to take another center... it makes no sense, if masai prefers khaman he would just take khaman

Unless of course Masai doesn't prefer Khaman. I see Beringer as a Masai pick with his elite physical tools and size

Don’t sweat it unless Jontay Porter put that bet in.

Jokes aside KOC mentioned awhile ago that he thought there were some rumblings about us liking Coward to help contribute quicker. But also flipside keep in mind that even Tolzman mentioned the desire to trade BACK in to grab a guy they like a little later than their pick which obviously hope that’s more so the case.

Yes I guess the implication of this is that Vecenie has heard we don’t like Kramer as much as some other guys. But he also knows full-well that teams are all misdirecting with the info they share right now so I guess we’ll see.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

You haven't watched much Fears have you?

He's a small guard who can't shoot and doesn't have jaw dropping athleticism.

But you didn't watch him play right? He's a guy you have to watch. The numbers can't tell his story, all they can do is caution you of his downside.

His elite skill is ballhandling. He might not be an elite vertical athlete, but he has elite speed with the ball.

He's got fine size to be a PG. He didn't shoot well numbers wise, but he believes in his shot and he can create his own. His percentage is lower in large part due to how many came off the bounce and in defenders faces. He can make those shots. He's not some guy who struggles to shoot 30 percent on wide open catch and shoot threes.

He's got that star aura. You have to watch him to see it. Preferably full games. He led a tournament team when he was suppose to still be in high school.

If you want upside, he's got it.

This is the type of player i love. If we can address some of our scoring issues with trades, I would try to draft this guy (hopefully with another pick)

Him & Scottie would legitimately be terrifying on defense.

I have seen him play, and I've got serious reservations about the guy's upside. I can't draft a guy in the lottery primarily based on vibes and aura. How many smallish guards who can't shoot and have good but not great athleticism go on to become stars in the NBA? The success rate ain't good.

Essengue is the only non-NCAA prospect in this draft who rated highly on Pelton's analytics based draft model, and has great physical measurements.

If Essengue is the pick tomorrow we're gonna look back and say this was his "purple/red suit" moment.

I like how Scottie is now the defacto example of young prospects they wanna emulate. Any 6-8+ guy who wants to be a point-fwd is his goto example.

They also looked around and saw the contracts Barnes, OG, Siakam, Poeltl, VV got...
