Of course the NBA decides to change the high school rules the year we get the 1st overall pick :banghead:

Although BC probably would have taken Bargnani regardless

We would have been fine with Lamarcus. Taking Primo first set the club back 10 years.

2 of the most composed and experienced teams in the league make silly mistakes and lose at the buzzer. Just that kind of night.

I have no fear of Chicago with or without Rose.
They really have very little Noah terrible, Taj ankle, Gasol old, rookies not so good and best player Butler.

Noah always starts slow ever season. Gasol has looked good this season. Also, not to mention Bulls are usually a second half team. Still too early to judge any team right now imo.

Noah is injured and will likely stay injured he is overplayed.
Please Note if it was a Raptor on the Chicago board you would be banned.

It wasn't even the fact that Bargnani is the worst 1st overall pick in history because he isn't

It was him showing enough glimpses of hope to BC to keep him around longer. He couldn't cut the cord with him. So glad that era is behind us!

Losses like that happen to every team. The thing with Memphis is, lottery teams have a better shot at beating them than elite teams. Memphis struggles to score.

They rely on defense, experience and rebounding to win. They also play down to their competition. Lottery teams like the 76ers and Bucks are young, athletic, can score and they come out hungry to beat an elite team.

The thing with Memphis is that since they're a low scoring defensive oriented team, they're susceptible to runs. They can play elite defense all game long and shut the opponent out for good stretches, but basketball is a game of runs, and they're going to happen. A 10-0 run hurts the Grizzlies more than it does the Warriors because the Warriors have the offense to counter a run, while the Grizzlies don't.

Wait, so we all agree that Anthony Davis is the best player in the NBA, right?

the spurs and popovich are amazing… just goes to show that a system and knowing how to use your players effectively goes a long way… dude puts scrubs in down 10 with under 5 minutes to go in the fourth, and they proceed to come back and take the lead, only to lose by one on an anthony davis layup… the ball movement is amazing…

One of the most amazing things BC did was spin the 2006 draft to having "no consensus #1" Aldridge was #1 from January of that year onward. Bargnani was 6th on most draft boards before the lotto.

Aldridge
Thomas
Morrison
Gay
Roy
Bargnani

was exactly how it looked with slight variations between thomas, gay and morrison

Bargnani nor Sheldon Williams were slated to go top 5.... and look at them now.
