Seriously, what is with these 18/19 year old kids looking like Jimmy Butler? Sidy and Scoot look physically ready to play in the NBA.

WTF! :o He grew like an inch (not 2 or 3 though) since last year and seemed like he gained weight with that growth. Geez, now looks like he's been getting ripped in the off-season. This is scary how quickly he's been able to do it. Could see him bullying Coulibaly around. :D Only reason to take Coulibaly over Cissoko is you believe that he will shoot 4-5% higher from 3 than Sidy.

Completely agree. I would 100% take Sidy over Bilal.

When Scoot went down, Cissoko stepped up with 5 straight 20 point games. People that doubt Sidy, what made Scottie Barnes look better than Sidy as a prospect?

If we draft Bilal that means Siakam or OG are gone in a trade....There is no way we keep all Siakam/OG/Bilal/Barnes who all share a sim skill set...Way too much overlap...

Siakam will be moved for either a guard in this draft or an already established guard. If not Siakam than OG for a lesser quality guard.

If we draft Coulibaly he is going straight to the G League or spot minutes off the bench. He won’t impact the starters too much.

Bilal is not getting past ORL and OKC. People shouldn’t get their hopes up lol

idk hes pretty raw atm....The only thing that throws me off is that the "Promise" got leaked somehow and if it was the Raptors who made the promise to pick Bilal i doubt they would let it get out to the media since they are always so DL about these kind of things....Could be smokescreen from another team who really want other teams to reach for him so they can get their man...But i wouldn't be surprised if its OKC who is making the promise to him as well.

Here is the consensus from a few team's boards on who they want at their picks:

10. DAL: Hendricks / Lively
11. ORL: Whitmore / Wallace / Lively / Dick
12. OKC: Hendricks / Coulibaly / Dick
13. TOR:
14. NOP: Dick / Lively / Hawkins / Coulibaly

Why not Bilal and Sidy? That's my ideal draft at this point. That or somehow snagging the two Thompsons to play with Barnes. The ball movement would be amazing. We'd just need our other two starters to shoot the **** outta the ball

Here's how I suspect it would work. Coulibaly's agent knows he's a projected 2024 lotto pick, so he says the only way he'll stay in the draft is with a lotto promise. Word gets out that he's expected to stay in the draft, and so teams now know someone must have given him a promise. They start to speculate which teams (late lotto) would be willing to give him that promise, much like we do. If he gets invited to the Green Room that promise will look more legitimate, but there's still a lot of time.

I won't mind Bilal at 13 for us cause i do see the potential in him...It will take a few seasons for the pick to show true value but only thing for me is if you are getting Bilal at 13 a follow up move needs to be made with either Siakam or OG being moved for a different kind of player.....Bilal needs a spot open up for him on our roster if we want to get the best out of him...

Having Barnes/OG/Siakam would stunt Bilals growth with us imo....Also we need to get shooters if you look at both teams in the finals both teams have a plethora of 3 point shooters....Its a MUST in todays game and we have maybe 2 decent 3 point shooters on our team.

There's 5 spots on our awful bench wide open. You don't need to keep bringing up this point.

lol the point is valid one....So our starting lineup is going to consist of no shooting and than our bench will also consist of no shooting? Thats a recipe for disaster ....All the elite teams in the NBA right now have a little bit of everything not stack up on the same kind of player 10x and hope for a good result....

Sure he could be a bench player but with OG/Siakam/Barnes in our lineup your drafting Bilal at 13 for him to be a backup to OG?...Id rather open a spot up for him so he can develop properly here if we do draft him...Cause there are many talented guards available at 13 your passing on which is a role we badly need to fill....

OG Or Siakam have to go in any scenario that you draft Bilal period.

Siakam and Fred spent the better part of first two seasons in GLeague. That worked out pretty good.

With Monty on board, Hendricks should be the pick for DET. He loves 3 and D.

19 year olds generally don't start, unless the team intends to be awful or there's a specific need for their skillset in the starting line-up. If OKC drafts Coulibaly, do you expect them to clear out one of Giddey, SGA, Williams or Holmgren immediately?

Just on this topic of Coulibaly and his fit that you guys are having in this conversation, I don't really see the overlap with Siakam and Barnes when it comes to Coulibaly. Bilal is much more of a perimeter oriented player than those guys are.

OG? Maybe, but he's a bit smoother offensively than OG is, and you can definitely have two of those kinds of guys on the court at the same time without any problem, with one of them playing the 2.

These online draft guys follow the crowd too much. Now they're all over Coulibaly when should have been obvious he was ranked way too low just 2 months ago.

Couldn’t agree more.

Bilal will be a shooting guard/wing.
