Boston media scene would be so insufferable if Celtics win this in 7. We won’t stop hearing it for another decade lol.

I really hope the Heat prove me wrong and win next game.

This series is sorta following the same script as the Raps/76ers last year. 76ers were really in control after 3 games, looked like it was going to be an easy sweep, Raps made some adjustments, win the next 2 and everyone is talking about how the Raps now have a great chance to come all the way back, but then get stomped in the 2nd half of game 6.

It's still really hard to win 4 straight playoff games against a good opponent. Almost everything needs to go right. One tough shooting half or a hot shooting Q from the opponent and that could be it.

He really is done. I would be shocked if he started next season with the Heat. They were intent on moving him at the trade deadline but there was no interest, likely due to his injury and the fact that he's pretty much done.

I've seen some posters suggest FVV in a sign-and-trade for Lowry. That would be asinine (and the Heat would do that in a nanosecond).

Yeah I was feeling sorry for Boston after game 3 but now I'm back on Miami's side. Anticipating the media glorification of the Celtics which would be overbearing

I want to see the C's vs the Nuggets so I'm completely split on who I want to see win lol.

Just hoping for some good basketball.

Lowry is like a lot of these older players in NBA currently where in the past they would have retired already. They can still bring their A game occasionally but its not frequent enough. Lot of money to be made in those last few seasons. Its on management to face reality and select a different approach.

I'm cheering for the Nuggets and i absolutely would not want to play the first team ever to come back from 3-0.
Heat need to close them out at home, no chance the Celtics lose game 7 at home

Almost everyone had the sixers beating us going into that series, where as the celtics were favourited to win this heat series. Celtics have game 7 at home, we didn't -- we knew that even if we won game 6, we still had the daunting task of winning in Philly for game 7. Celtics have more talent than the heat currently do. We weren't necessarily more talented than the sixers. Plus the injuries factor is different in this heat-celtics series. Apples and oranges.

During this playoff run, teams that shot better from the 3 than their opponent are 66-15.

Interesting to hear Bruce Brown say nobody really wanted him in free agency last summer. He ended up signing a 1+1 in Denver on July 7. Raps made their big splash on July 6th. Brown could have been that backup guard, versatile player that would have fit in nicely on Raps while not being expensive (cheaper than Boucher). Assuming he would've come here of course but lets consider the other reality, Raps were likely never interested.

When evaluating Raps front office, look at the missed opportunities. It tells the whole story.

I knew he’d be a liability when the Heat signed him. It’s crazy how competitive they’ve been despite wasting $60m a year on Lowry, Robinson, Oladipo. That same money you can bring in another superstar or 2-3 really good role players.

Lots of luck and lots of arrogance and complacency after the championship when that was the moment extremely hard work and decisions were needed after Kawhi's departure. Masai thought too highly of the leftover pieces and his expectation that they would become legitimate carries in the NBA never materialized, instead it turns out they're all what they were during the championship season - role players.

Boston but I think it'll be a very close game.

Return to Toronto Raptors
