Barnes went 2/8 but at least he got to the line and wasn't horrible either, 8/12 is alright, 13pts 8rbs on a bad night alright too

-barnes offense obviously work in progress, but his playmaking instincts are really encouraging. mentally seems very strong, aggressive even after some embarrassing attempts, looks to make the right play (whereas kuminga literally looked to shoot every time he touched the ball) shot will come around, touch around the rim and finishing could take longer to develop
-strong defensively, quick feet but oddly slow laterally, even then didnt get blown by often and used length effectively
-Not necessarily explosive but very strong and fast when he builds up some speed, very quick second jump
-flynn got ate by gary payton II, will still struggle to create space without a screen
Good to see fair assessment of the game and not stupid reactionary takes! Thank you for your take!

I was mostly disappointed that we didn't let him get more reps bringing the ball up the floor and initiating more.

No I’m not. I have no idea how good he’ll actually be but so far from my eye test I wish we picked Suggs.
Back in 03 I wanted Wade after SL

It's summer league I shouldn't be this mad lol but it's infuriating watching low iq basketball and point guards that don't pass. I'm sick and tired of players like that

Maybe with it being a back-to-back, they wanted to be cautious. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't play tomorrow. He tweaked his ankle during today's game.

He was able to get into the lane a bunch of times drawing 12 free throws for himself (which people were claiming he couldn't do). He missed a couple of bunnies but finishing at the rim has never been a concern for him. Made a 3. Rebounded. Was solid defensively.
"Bust!"

Barnes should be getting the ball everytime down the floor. Best and most talented playmaker/passer. it's not rocket science....

A lot of those misses were fouls that didn’t get called too
8-12 from the line is pretty encouraging. That’s not bad at all. Already showing glimpses of improvement

That's the kind of ball there was when there was no difference last year between the short non existent preseason and the first regular season games. It is just pick up right now. Am liking Banton. Scottie will be more than fine he is just burnt out from too many selfies. Johnson headed to 905. Gillespie played great. Flynn was Summer League TRoss ba-ad.

Its shoot holes in enough topics and one is bound to be correct once. So we have these negative Nancy's hoping players will fail, so at the end of the season they can boast about how they were right and the rest of us are a bunch of losers.

even as a rookie every move kawhi made was rigid and deliberate. Barnes doesn't have the level of confidence in his movement, and thus doesn't assert similar level of strength.
