grant's nice as hell. would fit on any contender

Remains an annoyance to me that coaches will sabotage their teams like this. There is no role for a short, unathletic guard in a last second game ending defensive possession. You sub him out and put any tall defender you have and tell everyone to switch. At least it didn't cost them a playoff game like it did us.

I mean, he banked in a three falling sideways. Sometimes guys just make shots in the NBA.

They do tend to be a bit harder when contested. Another bonus to the switch everything lineup is you don't have to devise these weird zone like defense patterns where Fred is waiting at the top of the arc for whoever flashes up from the action. You just have guys switching and making inbounds passes much harder. These are no-brainer decisions where coaches are just hurting their teams for no reason.

it looks like he traveled which is what created the space in the first place.

Actually he definitely traveled, might have even been 3 steps instead of 2 even but you're not allowed to take 2 steps before shooting without a dribble first anyways.

He has a ton of upside. I think Thibodeau is the perfect coach for him because someone needed to change what he was doing to get on the floor. His best attribute is his defense and he forgot that with the Toronto coaches who enabled his thinking he's Carmelo Anthony or something on offense.

Most were thinking he would replace OG a couple of years ago as the defensive stopper before he started struggling.

Can't lie, I find myself cheering for the Knicks. If there's any team in the East I would want to win, it's the Knicks, unless Jimmy Butler turns into Kawhi Leonard again in the playoffs lol

Precious chest bumped OG earlier after a classic OG steal and and1 drive. Nice to see.

Precious is really coming on the last few games. Needed that Raptor game to get his confidence rolling.

We had OG and Siakam on our roster, home grown, in their prime. This is so depressing.

OG is up to +38 versus the Champs
Precious rebounding like a fiend
Pascal on triple double watch

This is going to be a hard season for ex-Raptors tracking while the current Raptors try to keep their games from being complete blowouts.

It would sting if we were good with them but we were getting blown out with them here.

Those guys are where they belong. They deserve to be playing meaningful games in their primes.

If Precious keeps playing well, the question of who won the trade won't be close

OG is a UFA so all that matters is what happens this season of OG + whatever RJ/Pick and this IQ. Although quickly is a RFA so for argument sake we will only count this year of IQ. I mean Knicks obviously won the trade THIS YEAR, that was never in question.

Raps had a special core but Masai failed to add the right pieces to it. In his post Pascal trade speech he said how much he believed in the group, which sounds nice. But he did a terrible job of adding to it.

10 boards three assists. Hustling switching D. Only two points, missed a couple of drives and putbacks. Still does a few typical Precious things but overall effective. I think Thibs probably likes him
