I've never understood this whole "NY is the center of the basketball universe" crap. There are two franchises that matter in the NBA...the Lakers and the Celtics. The Knicks have done literally nothing in the NBA compared to those two teams and yet, they're the "Meca". It's just NY media BS.

Guys I just wanted to say please know we do not have any insiders posting in this thread. If anyone really knew for sure that kawhi is returning, they wouldn’t spent countless hours on this thread. They’re here because they’re checking this page looking for updates like the rest of us - they’re fans. Mods I only point this out cause BDE has already been asking to be called an insider if he’s right - a 50% chance of your guess being correct is great odds.

If I was the LA teams, I would have prepared a montage video with many clips of Kawhi getting fouled going to the basket as a Raptor and not getting the foul call. Then their pitch could be, if you come here you will get superstar treatment from the refs, you will get those calls. I could easily imagine LBJ making that pitch
