Also, in other news, the fact that we ended up beating France by more than 20 points is just such a blessing. FIBA's convoluted rankings system considers so many things, but one of them is the margin of victory (I didn't realize this until this AM as I thought it only mattered for that specific tournament). We stand to jump quite a bit in the rankings if we also beat Spain in R2 by a similar margin.

Yeah we really got get our rank up so we stop getting such difficult paths in these tournaments. One of the reasons we should take tournaments like the Americup more seriously.
