30-35 million? Here's the list of players making that kind of money this season. There are some terrible contracts in this list and if Fred's name were to appear here, his would be one of them.

I think Jake feels like he has to back up his OG is unhappy call, but everyone on the Raptors with the exception of Juancho does this.

As SNY reported, the Knicks also checked in with Toronto about OG Anunoby. This was before New York reeled off eight straight wins in December. But given Toronto’s place in the standings, Anunoby could be available at the deadline. So that’s something to monitor.

Also worth noting: in their conversation about Anunoby prior to the winning streak, New York was comfortable offering multiple first-round picks for Anunoby. I don’t think these talks were at an advanced stage at that point. But all of the above strongly suggests that team decision-makers have, so far, focused on improving the roster for at the Feb. 9 trade deadline.

This probably confirms the mystery team that offered 3 picks for OG were the Knicks like some suspected. Likely they were crappy protected picks, not unprotected ones.

I'd be really upset with that return. No offence to you personally, it's just that OG might be the best all-around defender in the NBA and we should be looking for way more than that package.
And I don't see why Orlando would want FVV. Seems like a classic value-pump/smokescreen to me.
It's unfortunate that no one's looking to sell their star, because we clearly have the assets. The timing just isn't right. We would've been able to grab Haliburton or Sabonis this time last year, if Masai was interested. Maybe even Harden if we went all-in?

If it did, you'd want "the better of the New Orleans or Laker picks"... because it is no longer a given that the Lakers, with AD back, can't catch the imploding Pels.

If trading OG, send him western conference like Portland or Denver. Don't want to face OG 4 times a year and potentially in early round playoffs. OG would give Barnes or Siakam issues

Agreed. And you always want to go with the younger player. FVV has peaked and this is the best time to trade him. His defense has declined, he's too small and frequently gets blocked in the paint. Masai needs to move on as the fanbase is so ready to move on from FVV.

Maybe people are more lenient to OG calling his own offense because every night he gets the toughest defensive assignment and he excels at it.
