This is the move after December 14 (I only put the salary filler for simplicity, but I'm assuming some level of draft capital would have to go to the Kings).

Don’t think that gets it done.

Everyone in the league wants Ellis, except for Sacramento it seems

Yes, some sweetener like Jerry Lucas was assuming will need to be added. Maybe SRPs, don't think anyone is giving up a FRP when he's UFA in the offseason. I like how it gets us under the tax as well.

SAC messed up by picking up his team option instead of letting him go into RFA.

We cant have Poeltl matched up with a guy like Moussa Diabate. He looks lost, Moussa is too active Poeltl cant keep up.

Toronto needs to trade for a veteran wing. The inconsistency of Walter, Dick and Agbaji has been keeping us from blowing out teams. Even when RJ gets back we need that depth 3 and D wing and maybe a backup Center.

We have Battle. He's better than most of these guys other than RJ and Walter.

Dick should be able to get us a good big or even a first round pick. I'd give him the full rookie contract before sending him off, letting him turn into something on a different team would be hard to see.

Easiest deal is Sharpe for Ochai. Then give those spot minutes to Battle. We have a back up C and another Scottie friend on the team.

Then we need to pull off a consolidation trade. IQ + Dick + 1 first for a star guard. This could be Booker, maybe even Giannis.

That's the real path to contention. Not what we currently are.

Your not getting Booker or Giannis for that. Any deal starts with Scottie and picks or CMB and A LOT of picks

Booker is not worth Scottie and picks, come on now.

Dick and Mogbo for Ellis and Eubanks would work.

Poeltl / Mamu / Eubanks
Barnes / CMB
Ingram / Walter
RJ / Ellis
IQ / Shead

It would probably make us better in the short term, and have no impact long term. If Vivek likes Stauskas then he'll love Gradey.

Worth and what it would cost are two different things. Booker isn't getting traded for Quickley plus Gradey Dick and a first teams would easily beat that. I was putting Barnes moreso for the Giannis take. Antetokounmpo will cost a Kings ransom
