Yikes.

Yep, and they might have been able to use an amnesty clause on Baron if that happens.

marcwagz wrote:Bryan already said that we don't need an impact player right away and would prefer a player with high potential.
Which basically means we'll take Knight if he's available at 5.

The first two players Bryan mentioned on that draft camp show were Walker and Knight, and then he basically said that everybody is in play, ready or not. I think he mentioned everybody but Leonard and Motie(his short list?).

Leonard was mentioned in his first interview after the lottery

Imagine we landed the 6th pick, then we would really be screwed. This way, we guarantee one of Kemba, Knight or Kanter.

If we landed the 6th, I could see BC grabbing Leonard, Biyombo or one of the Euro's.

He's 21 and there are still doubts about him.

But in all seriousness...
Do these analysts seriously think we are going to take Valuncinous or whatever his name is?
I can't imagine us taking him...

since when do players stop getting better at 21?

Why nobody really speculate what the Wolves would do? Assume if they keep the 2nd pick, who would they really need?

If they keep the pick, I think Kanter would be their guy. But, really, I don't think Williams nor Kanter fit that team. I'm pretty sure they deal the pick.

Still really like Burks. Glad BC mentioned him in one of his interviews.

Andy Katz reports that Enes Kanter stood up the Utah Jazz during interviews. Wow! #utahjazz

Well, then. Still don't think he makes it past CLE at 4, but daaaang.

Lol, yeah I guess they missed my quote in the other thread. Now that Kanter is off the list, who replaces him in the top 3 raptors draft list.

I didn't know this about Kyrie

“I’m an Australian-American African-American,” Irving told me earlier this year. “That’s pretty unusual, but it gives my personality some versatility. When I tell people that I’m Australian, they always ask me ‘are you’re lying’ or ‘is it true?’”

I think BC is targetting Jonas Valanciunas.

1) He mentioned that he was targetting someone considered too high at #3. Jonas Valanciunas was seen to be a botherline top 10 pick a week or two ago.
2) He wants someone that is not ready and will take time to develop.
3) Jonas Valanciunas is from Europe.

Hell no. That's suicide for BC if he pulls some sh*t like that with either of the 2 guards (Knight or Walker) on board. You think he wants to go down the Euro route when picking top 5 again?

I don't think Jonas is BC's type. He likes his international big men with a nice stroke.

BC could be high on Jonas (he's probably the best two-way C prospect in this draft), but I don't see him taking Val unless there won't be any delay in him coming over. He did refer to him as a project in his interview yesterday though (and not Biyombo, who he called a "high riser")

Why did Andy Katz end his interview with Kanter by saying "#6 to the Wizards is looking like a possibility for Enes" I really hope we're not dumb enough to pass him up at 5.

For me 1. Biyombo 2. Knight at 5. But I'm not betting on Bismack being there.

There's probably a 2 year wait for Val. It's not worth it IMO. I wouldn't take him top 10 if he could come over immediately.
