I get the feeling we're right back to where we were a week or two ago, the NBA will offer 50/50 with a restrictive system or 47/53 with a more player-friendly system.

Sorry, that just does not carry the weight with me that whoknows does.
whoknows wrote:Since no progress was made today there is a good chance that this will blow up.
The idiot players don't realize that they kill their golden goose with decertification.
If it gets really ugly, the owners will be fain, just take their millions and invest in something more profitable. What are most of players going to do?
If decertification will happen, in two years when all is reconstructed, I can see a league with only 12 teams - possibly a second tear basketball league of another 12 teams.
It would really nice to promote/demote between the 2 leagues the top/last 4 teams each year. So top 4 teams from second league will replace bottom 4 teams in the premier league (two per each East/West).

Late last night the @NBA and @TheNBPA agreed on revenue split, always the biggest issue. Terms: 10 yr deal, 50/50 BRI split.

Games could potentially be played as early as early December, should positive news surface tonight. @NBA @TheNBPA

Although nothing official as of now, expect to hear "positive news" about the deal "later tonight". #letthisbetrue @NBA @TheNBPA

Source says a deal hasn't been reached between NBA and @TheNBPA, but reasons 4 optimism continue. And I haven't been the optimistic type.

So 18 teams are going to lose a massive amount of value, like hundreds of millions of dollars each, and the players are the idiots in your scenario?
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

It got smoother, the last song was much more porny. But yes I watch pretty vanilla porn.
And by vanilla porn I mean penetration with the vanilla stems.

would free agency begin immediately after the lockout ends? Or would they set a date once the new CBA is ratified?

Re: Official CBA/Labour Talks Discussion Thread III
I'm not buying it unless the players have completely given up. What happened to the decertification option? Seems like it wasn't much of an option at all.
