Blair can score. He scores the same amount of points in about 20 minutes that Joey does in 36. The better comparison is if Reggie Evans can play in the NBA, then Dorsey can also. He's basically like a Reggie Evans clone in terms of production, though the way they accomplish things is a little different.

When you think about his Euro season, its pretty ironic and proves that even if you are good, you can be stuck in a bad situation.

He signed with ''Caja Laboral'', barely played at all, ''Laboral'' finished 5th. in their EL group, failed to even make top 16. So he moved to ''Olympiakos'', got a bigger role, actually won Euroleague and was voted GBL Defensive player. Its like in your face, ''Laboral'', losers

I think given the right situation he could have succeed in the NBA too. I can see him working with the Celtics because of his big body and they would sort of find their Perkins replacement; KG is the kind of player that he could compliment and would compliment him. And he's also much better at finishing around the rim so he'll be able to catch those Rondo passes for dunks or lay ups.

It's because Ivanovic knew he had no offensive game and so he didn't use him. Ivkovic, on the other hand, accepted he was only getting 4-6 points a game, and was fine with it.

It's just like in the NBA. The coach has to accept the players for what they are. Dorsey is pretty much the same as Ben Wallace. He needs a coach that will accept that he isn't going to score more than 4-6 points a game.

BTW, Olympiacos changed the name of the club from Olympiakos, to Olympiacos, years ago.

Evans is a good comparison but I view Dorsey more as a short stocky Center than a Pure PF

He always has a defensive game but it's just not enough to be able to matchup with a lot of bigs in the NBA.

I agree. Dorsey is a short center. He's more like Ben Wallace than Evans.

That has nothing at all to do with the economic issue. Olympiacos - Panionios regular season Greek League games at the home arena of Olympaicos would always be played in an empty arena.

No Olympiacos fans would care about a game like that. It's been that way for many years. Olympiacos actually had higher attendance this year than in previous years.

They actually increased revenues and attendance during the economic crisis. You are looking at a game there that simply has zero importance for any Olympiacos fans.
