But what is the point of spacing if it kills our defense and rebounding .

There's no point even asking... Coach Clown has obviously made up his mind. JV benched in the 4th come hell or high water

Bs . Demar was getting open early in the game because of all of the beautiful screens Jonas was setting.

As soon as JV came out, the game went to sh*t for the raps.

Because Casey believes that if Val makes a mistake during crunch time, he will lose confidence in his game and turn into a bust

Is anyone still pro-Casey? What an awful/terrible coach.

beats me. JV was playing amazing. Leave it to Casey to not play him or Ross for a single minute.

Duh. Casey is trying to save Jonas' energy for the playoffs. This is why you're not an NBA head coach and the basketball god Dwane Casey is.

Hell.

Is it possible to consolidate the Casey threads?

JV Is only here to be a monster in the 1st quarter. Once he hits the bench he is no longer allowed to touch the ball whether he reenters the game or not.

Can someone in the media please ask him this question? And repeatedly?

Two reasons:
-He loves smallball.
-He doesn't trust rookies.

Did you not see all the threes we were missing? Our shots weren't going down, but we were successful driving to the rim. Casey made the decision to give demar and rudy more space to drive to the rim. If val was out there Clevland could pack into the paint. Plus having rudy and amir out there can cover andrea's rebounding a little bit.

Im not sayin i agreed with it, im just telling you guys what was going on in Casey's head. If it was me, i would of put amir at centre and have rudy playing power foward( since Clevland doesnt really have any offensive threats down low), derozan at the 3, Lowry , and either AA/Fields/Ross at the 2

Anyone think BC has these same thoughts? If he fires him in the offseason, it'll make a lot of us happy. Dumping Bargs, Casey, and Anderson in the summer would be magical.

JV provides the help D and rebounds that Bargs never can and Amir can't when he's playing with 4 smalls. Just put a ballboy in his place and he can do better than this buffoon of a coach.

At this rate we are going to suck next year too as we try to develop our rookies JV , Ross and Acy because we did not develop them this year .

I was thinking the same. All I hear from the media is "oh, tough loss for the Raptors".

Then Casey says "I can't play my starters 48 minutes", and nobody bothers to call him out on it.

I get the impression there is some BC meddling going on here.

None of this makes sense. Matt & Leo keep going on about how they have to "get bargnani going". I didn't realize getting Bargnani going superseded team success.
