You guys are lucky, I don't even think any half-decent courts exist in the Hamilton area, much less anything like that. I would kill to play on that court lol.

I recently moved to the area and I'm trying to find a place to get some runs in - Oakville was pretty good for that

If you are willing to travel a bit, Edithvale Community Centre two blocks west of Yonge on Finch West is a really good place for outdoor ball. One full court and 4 single nets. I used to play there but I recently got a membership at Hoopdome, so now I play there.

edit: oops, i'm too late:

Edithvale community centre near yonge and finch has a bunch of hoops and a court. A lot of Filipinos play there as well.

Birchmount and Mcnicoll is a horrible court. Can you even call that a court? It's more like a paved area with 8 baskets jammed all around. There isn't even enough room for a full court game there unless its empty and even then the ground is not level.

Do not go to this court if you are looking for a decent run. Unless you are looking to play a different form of basketball all together then by all means go ahead. By this i mean the collection of players that show up here are people who have never played a full court team game in their life.
On Gerald Henderson vs Derozan:
"Yes. Hendo is quite a bit better than DeMar.
So yes, I do believe he's currently the better player and do project that will continue to be in the future. I would also take Turner over DD."

It's not made for full court games , it's made for half court 3v3 or 4v4 , if your looking for full court your best bet is indoor there are rarely any outdoor full court runs in the city

If you can even manage to get a 3 on 3 going there. There is no space to get a decent game going period if all nets are in use. I know where the full court outdoor runs are , there quite a few outdoor runs in the city.

Thanks guys. I think I am going to check out the Esplanade court after work as soon as it warms up a little more. The court looks pretty cool. I hope there are some good runs there.
