Trade 1

Kyle Lowry for #14 (UTA)

Trade 2

Demar Derozan for Ekpe Udoh, #43 (MIL)

I believe both those trades are legal because UTA and MIL have capspace (though they'd have to wait until July to be completed. I don't think this is a problem, the Hibbert/JO deal didn't actually go through until July 9th for example)

After Bargs amnesty roster next year looks something like:

Larkin/Lucas III
Ross/Fields
Gay/Kleiza
Amir/Acy
Valanciunas/Udoh/Gray

Gay, Amir may end up being shopped later like at the deadline, but in the meantime the team becomes a lot more cap friendly while going young in the backcourt

What would you think of a homecoming for Nash & getting Pau? I think it would take most of your assets to do it, but if you can unload Bargs in the process & keep Rudy & Val, it makes sense for your team since you seem firmly committed to contending with Masai at the helm.

Lowry, Derozan, Bargs, Fields or Amir for Nash & Pau. Highly doubt we'd give up our chance at cap space to bet the farm on Lowry & Derozan but I personally think it's enough to put us over the top.

Toronto Trades: 2014 1st round pick
Toronto Recieves: 2013 10th & 13th pick

Dallas Trades: 2013 13th pick & Shawn Marion
Dallas Receives: 2014 Raptors 1st round pick

Portland Trades: 2013 10th pick
Portland Receives: Shawn Marion

It really relies on Dallas thinking the Raptors will suck in 2014 & not make the playoffs, and Portland not valuing the 10th pick at all. Not the most likely scenario but I would give up next years pick for 2 picks this year.

HELLLLLLLLLL NO!!!!

LOLOLOL is this a joke? Honestly, no offense meant but thank God you're not the GM.

You would trade a probable lottery pick in the stacked 2014 draft for the 10th and 13th pick in the 2012 draft? Those players picked at #10 and #13 are late first round picks next year. Terrible, terrible deal.

Bob Finnan of The News-Herald

"One unconfirmed rumor that's surfaced is the Sacramento Kings offering point guard Isaiah Thomas to the Cavs for the No. 19 pick. He's only 5-9, but you could do a lot worse as a backup point guard."

I'd love to have isaiah thomas over here. I don't see how we can beat pick 19 tho.

Not a good move from the Kings IMO unless there's another motive at work here.

This draft really isn't that good and chances that you'll find a player that good at that place in the draft is relatively slim. Not to mention the fact that Sacramento doesn't have any other real PG's on the roster.

Would anyone here trade Amir Johnson for Serge Ibaka?

Hell yeah.

I love Amir, but Ibaka is one of the best shot blockers in the NBA. There's no way OKC does that. Ibaka has significantly improved his jumper as well. That's exactly what we need at the 4 beside Valanciunas.

Everyone in Toronto should do it, but NONE in OKC could ever think to a similar trade. Ibaka is a better player.
Serge is only bigger, stronger, better rebounder, scorer and shot blocker.

If we have a lottery pick next year then yeah its a bad deal simply because we'd be giving up all odds of getting into the top 3 & getting some franchise changing talent. The way things are headed though I see the Raptors making the playoffs this year & having a late first round pick next year. So having 2 chances at drafting a decent player is better than having one shot at a player that could be good or be a bust.

How about this:
http://basketball.realgm.com/tradecheck ... de/6275281

Rudy Gay for Ben Gordon, Tyrus Thomas, and Charlotte's 2013 Pick & protected 2014 pick.

I think Rudy's a good player and can be used to pick up a combo of bad contracts & young assets.

What's funny is that I had lunch with Terrence Ross' agent yesterday. We talked about every possible scenario. Toronto never came up.

Tank Lineup 2013:

Lowry
DD
Fields
Bargs
Jonas

Trade Gay before the season starts. Get these guys to put up respectable numbers and trade them all (except for Jonas and maybe Lowry) before seasons end when the value is high. They cannot win games.

Tank Mode

Trade Lowry to Dallas for #13 and Jared Cunningham

Trade Gay for Pau + 2014 1st

Trade Pau for Thomas Robinson

Trade Amir for Norris Cole, Joel Anthony, + a 2014 1st

Drop roughly $20m in salary, add 3 picks and 3 young players. Tank like crazy.

Cole/Cunningham
DeRozan/Ross
Fields/Saric (Draft)
Thomas Robinson/DeJuan Blair (FA)
JV/Anthony

That's a BAD team. Like 20 wins bad. Like many, many ping pong balls bad. But athletic as hell, could be fun to watch, and has a gaping hole at the 3 for Wiggins to step right into (lol).

Timberwolves would take this in a second, good work

Ye I think it can work for both sides. Perhaps MU can net us more draft picks but we need to add another player in that case.

Would you guys take JRich, Hawes, and the #11 from Philly for Rudy??

Looking to start a season in 2k with the 6ers. I want a trio of Jrue, Rudy, and Big Drew...could be the new Indy lol.
