I think the Raptors should check out the following undrafted FAs:

Myck Kabongo - great size, pass first, potential to be a 2-way all-around player... if he fully develops, I still have hope that he can turn into a Rondo-lite

Jackie Carmichael - strong and tough, rebound, solid post defense, play hard on both ends... I see some Carlos Boozer (before the big contract) in him

Adonis Thomas - '93 born top prospect out of high school, don't think he will make a team, but maybe he can turn into a solid player in a few years

Seth Curry - one of the best shooter in college... he showed some PG skill when playing for Liberty, but going to Duke and he turned into a catch-and-shoot guy playing beside Irving, Rivers, Cook. He never got to develop his PG skill. I can see a Steve Kerr like career with him though.

As for guys with NBA experience, I like:
Darius Morris - just released by the Lakers with Nash, Blake, and Duhon. His small contract made him an easy cut. I still think he can turn out to be a good PG. At 6'4, he got great size. He averaged 15pt 6ast in college and was known to be a good passer. He will probably come cheap. Could be a low risk high reward guy.

Jeremy Tyler - great size, solid mobility and athleticism. Tones of potential and seemed to get his head right. I think he can be a solid backup big man. Another low risk high reward guy.

Since we're going for the 8th seed we'll need to establish a winning culture in the SL. We can't wait until the season begins.

Since this team is so desperately looking for a 3+D player someone like Brandon Paul or James Southerland should get an invite on the the SL roster. They've got experience so if they do make the 15 man roster they can probably contribute like Draymond Green did.
Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?" - Jesus Shuttlesworth

I'd say we're going for fifth at this point. Why not chance your sad song?

The Wizards-Pistons and Cavaliers are all direct competitors and should be aiming to make a push for the playoffs (maybe not the Pistons). If I was very optimistic I would give us a shot at 6.

According to Broussard, Kabongo just signed on with Miami's summer league team.
"Easy woman. Easy. Don't make Leo slap you around again. Don't make Leo lay another beating on you. Don't make me call my friend Kobe". It was nice to know that I had not only Leo Rautin's back on this one, but also Kobe Bryant's.

cause they have none of their own young players to develop.
im not sure you guys know how summer league works. theres very little affiliation with the team youre playing with unless youre under contract

For me - the best undrafted rookie prospect is Khaliff Wyatt. This guy almost single handedly brought Temple to the dance last year. He went off against the Cuse 2-3 ZONE and beat them on their home court. When Kansas had their 58 game win streak @ Allen Field House - it took big performances by Mclemore and Withey to hold Wyatt off.

He danced around Indiana's defence in the tournament scoring over 30 pts and making every smart decision possible on the court. Another hard nosed Philly guard who isn't flashy - but puts in work and is a nightmare to cover.

At the very least this kid is worth a long look in summer league.

didn't he undergo surgery recently? In any case, if he's back, I wouldn't mind taking a look at him in SL.

This guy is 6'10", 260 pounds and likes to eat rebounds, block shots and throw his weight around. The Raps are missing a big man with mobility, beef and the ability to cause an offensive player to second guess coming into the paint. Echenique can be this player. He's averaging 7 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 22 mins right now and could fill a Nene type role for the team. He's spent his summers playing for the Venezuelan National team and has good experience. I think he could fall into the free agent pool where the Toronto could snatch him at a bargain price.

Another Bringham Young bruiser? Can't go wrong there. :D
Ajinca fits the Raptors' mold as a skilled player from Europe, but has never shown any signs of succeeding at the NBA level
