Shooting 26.8% on the season. He better show something more before we take on his 2 year/23 million contract

He came back from an ACL injury. Hopefully he can bounce back to 12-13 levels if he joins our sqaud.

His injury is why I need to see a couple weeks worth of good games before I touch that contract

If he were cheap (making 5 or 6 per) then I would go after him now but its large enough that I need to productivity from him first

Only player I want from Denver is Mozgov, and maybeeee Chandler.

Gallo just came back from injury and overpaid.

Faried is a really good player but his new deal makes it hard to trade for him.

The only potential good fit I see on Denver's roster is Mozgov, who'd be an upgrade on HandsBro/Hayes/Stiemsma. However I want JV to continue starting, and Casey would probably play Mozgov 25-30 minutes a game.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

I wouldn't touch Javale or Gallo.

I'm looking at their roster and I want none of their players actually.

We already have better players at EVERY position.

That pick still does not have great value, and this really changes nothing. The market is assuming that New York will be a playoff team next year with the money they will have to spend.

If we want maximum value we wait. Let the Knicks be the Knicks and suck again next year.

Mozgov would definitely be a good pickup.

Faried would also be good, but we'd have to play him off the bench (our starting lineup defense would evaporate). His contract is also rather rich.

Their wings are all kinda "meh" to me, honestly.

On a scale of 1 to fragile how much do you trust Amir's ankles?

On a related note would love Faried on this team, we do have a few future draft picks as assets along with some nice pieces that could make this trade happen imo

Amir's ankles are fragile for sure, but I wouldn't replace him with an inferior player (at least in terms of post defense)

I would say now's the best time to trade for him since his value is so low.. but dude is also SO injury prone... so.. I'd rather not.

Only viable option would be Mozgov as back-up Center. But he has complained about coming off the bench before so now that he has a starting position I doubt he'd be happy leaving it.

as a denverite, there's really nothing that you guys have that we would want in return so simmer your undoubtedly high expectations.

I would do T-Ross for Kevin Faried, straight up.

Yes and Yes so much more. We need a 7 footer off the bench who can clean the defensive glass.

Why is Faried seen as such a good fit? Amir and 2Pat are fine. One stretches the floor the other plays great D. I don't see how adding Faried will work unless Amir is moved.

I'd rather take a look at Gallo. He's a good player when healthy and this looks like a prime buy low window and those are the type of deals Masai usually likes (Example Lou deal). It might take Gallo all of this year to get back up to speed but we could definitely use him as I think the 3 spot is the weakest on the club. Right now our starting line up consists of 2 SG.

Mozgov would be an awesome pickup, exactly what the raps need in a backup C

I would look at Gallinari for Fields and Hayes and that's all I'm offering, because this team really could use more scoring off the bench.

Am I the only one who thinks of Black Ops zombies every time I see the word firesale?

Anyways, I doubt we'd get Mozgov, but I wonder if Chandler or Gallo would make a big difference

Even though the captain has fit in well so far, I would trade Lou for Afflalo in a second if the deal wouldn't need too much of a sweetner. Pretty unlikely though, and I wouldn't want to give up a 1st because Afflalo will probably be a free agent at the end of the year.

I wonder if expiring would entice them.

Affalo, McGee
For
Hansborough, Fields, Hayes

Saves them $3M now, and $15M comes off the books at the end of the year.
