I was just wondering if someone knows a back story of why he acts this way that none of us know or if there
is a diagnosed mental/personality disorder for this kind of behavior.

This really sucks, considering that Paul Jones seems like a good guy. Not the best analyst/broadcaster but a good guy.

It is kinda odd that someone who was born, raised, schooled and then worked in Toronto is acting like he's never been there before. It's too bad too, I always liked Jones when he was on TSN, he was easily the best of a very bad lot.

I believe the Jones brothers were sons of Jamaican immigrants I've heard Paul talk about his Jamaican roots
before but never heard Mark it's all about Murica for him.

Surprised he would endorse USA and hate Canada I guess he never learned about the Underground rail
road in school.

I stopped following Mark Jones on Twitter over a year ago. He is a massive douche who delights in slamming Toronto/Canada. I have zero time for him. The less I hear from Mark Jones, the better.

He reminds me of those self-hating kids from a minority ethnic group who grow up in a small town with all white kids. They try so hard to fit in that they put down their own race and make fun of their own culture.

We should be more understanding of Mark Jones. He is simply overcompensating as a response to being marginalized as a Canadian living in America.

A lot of pots calling the kettle black in this thread. When hockey is mentioned on this board you'll read stupidity in the following posts. The back story on Mark Jones is that he was tired of the amount of coverage that hockey got in Canada and wanted to move to the U.S. where he could cover his favourite sport : basketball. Good for him.

They are. If I remember correctly his dad was a boxer for Jamacia. I've met both of his parents on more than one occasion & they are extremely nice people. Very sweet. They are super proud of both of their sons.

Makes it even stranger that Mark has this weird agenda against his homeland.

Did you even read the thread?

I didn't see a single person criticize Mark for moving to the US.

No one said anything negative about Adnan Virk or the Basketball Jones guys or any of the other Canadian sportcasters who moved down to the US to take jobs.

All the criticism is about Mark hating on Canada or being a douche bag.
