Sorry but Lowry is to blame thinking that at 6 feet tall he can just drive and get an easy layup on a 6'10 forward name Capela. Come on.

Derozan got to the line 2 possessions in a row and Lowry thinks he can do the same.

No.

Gotta snap out of it, again. Pick up the defense and we'll be ok.

this is what's gonna happen in the playoffs when refs don't give Derozan an automatic 2 free throws for yelling

BLowing huge leads consistently and not being able to defend for a full game is a nice recipe for success in the playoffs

I think this group are underachievers, because they consistently find ways to beat themselves.

DD and Lowry's decision making at the end there wasn't great but they weren't the cause of the loss. Just a symptom.

guard defense could not contain Harden and he got a step on his defender quite often which led to rotation by the big and lobs to Dwight, or if the big didn't step up early enough he'd get a floater.

Also this, courtesy of Undefeated:

some strange defensive decisions like that causing the team more harm than necessary.

Harden didn't want to just outplay DeRozan but out freethrow him as well.

Derozan, I love ya and all - but when you feel the need to take over the game, you seldom do this and usually cost of the game thinking you're the best 1 on 1 player in the NBA - you're not.

The loss is whatever but the defence over the last 20 or so games has been concerning.. This team once again is loafing hard on that end
