i would take them with ease....(and ya it is possible since Chariss stock rose and Jacok Poltle could go to New Orleans)

Ranking in order of preference

2) Heild
3) Brown

Also JV while good may be a Rap long term and he simply may not. Defence and passing are still an issues. Hopefully Masai is truly ready to swing for the trees.

Kings management are dumb I hope they don't draft Murray and he drops to us :D; but who will move up for use to pick one of those 3 you mention?

A big will rise. Skal or Poeltl, Perhaps even Davis or Ellenson. Bigs that can stretch the floor are a trend right now. NBA teams are notorious for being trend followers.

Literally every mock I read today has the Raps taking Jakob.

If he is BPA then I see the point, and his three point range stuff is good to read, but not sure I would be super happy with that pick. Unless there is a Val trade in the works

We're stuck in a pretty crappy situation where it's an eight player draft and we're sitting at nine having to pick from the best of everyone else.

I have decent confidence in Masai to make the right pick/move. He really does know way more about basketball than all of us

I'm still rooting for the Val & Skal tandem, would be nice but if Murray/Hield/Brown falls to us, I won't be mad either, unless Masai passes on them.

Gimme D Jackson at 27 if he's still on the board.

I'd see if Denver would bite and trade their 15th and 19th picks for #9. One of the PF's should be available at 15. Maybe a Taurean Prince at 19 and draft n stash at 27

I'm not sure I see it that way. I'd probably pass on Brown if he falls. It might look crazy in retrospect, but he has a lot to work on. I'm sure he'll be able to come in and defend. But his scoring is going to be rough.

Legit question, would it be crazy to pass on brown? I'm probably in the minority but I dont mind the options in our range. I even like some prospects in the teens. ( Baldwin, Korkmaz, Skall, Davis)

Our point guard situation is already packed but this guy looks like he has so much potential Id rather him as a Lowry replacement than Cojo and Wright

I was just about to post about Brown. He has intriguing upside given his physical gifts (size, explosiveness) but his jumper is suspect and he doesn't really have great handles. I think out of all the top prospects, he is the most likely to fall but you never know what the Kings are gonna do.

The 2011 draft was supposed to be a two player draft. The Raps were actually fortunate to avoid that 2nd pick, because they would have taken Derrick Williams. Players selected - well - beyond those two players: Klay (11th), Kawhi (15th), Butler (30th), IT (60th).
