If Ainge thinks the Wolves gave up a lot to get Jimmy Butler, you can just tell that he's offering little of value for both PG and Butler

I'm really starting to wonder if Ainge is insulting other GM's with his offers.... and its now snowballed to the point that no one wants to deal with him. Dude is in fact a hoarder and is spoiled by the fleecing he gave the Nets. That was a once in a lifetime fleece job.. you can't expect it to happen again!

I also don't understand where they are finding roster spots for the 100 draft picks he has stashed away. It some point he has to take a legit risk!

I think they would be better of with Hayward and a PF who can rebound and spread the floor and defend/ (patterson, Ibaka)

IT/Bradley/Hayward/Ibaka/Horford

Then ideally keep Smart/Brown/Tatum/Crowder/Olynik as backups.

People need to understand we are much closer then we think just need to minus those negatives and insert those positives with consistency namingly our bum starting 3 and backup Stretch 4 we would of been right there with the cavs

We got steamrolled in a SWEEP and the year before it literally look like CLE took a couple games off then stepped on throats when they felt like it. The difference isn't just a better 3 and back up 4. It's a franchise player. Our two leaders are considered somewhat on par with Love (Lowry due to age and breaking down every year by the Playoffs) and Irving (DeRozan, both high level scorers). Of course LeBron being THE best player in the league automatically creates huge separation, getting an "ok" 3 is not nearly enough nor does it compensate for the plethora of shooters that surround LBJ that he kicks out to when the defense collapses on him, we have no such player or luxury but the exact opposite, poor shooters and even worse passing.

This team at MINIMUM would need to add Paul George and I still don't like their odds to beat CLE. We would likely need to trade JV + Joseph for Millsap just to have a line up that would legitimately compete with them but just any old "starter" at 3 and a back up 4 would do NOTHING at all to get us past CLE.

Most big name FAs are projected to go to the sexy big market team. Reality is, most re-sign with their current team for more money.

Hayward gets 50 mill more by staying in Utah. That's not chump change.

Maybe Im the only one who loves the fit. All 3 guys are true triple threats, while none of them is meant to carry a Lebron type load. They can all spot up from 3 really well too. Stevens is a great coach and this is the era of personal sacrifice for the super team.

The only question would be whether or not they have enough assets left to bring in the rebounding and rim protection they need.

They'll keep Horford. They have Daniel Theis and almost surely Ante Zizic coming in from Europe. The other big man slots would be filled by vets looking to latch on to a contender, I would guess.

It looks like 2/3 of the roster would turn over if this happens. Fun stuff.
