I miss the Bay Concourse though, hasn't been the same since it shut down for construction years ago now.

The new York st. concourse is great....I think they are opening the bay st. side in 2019.

When getting off the GO, I would recommend getting off the train on the west side of the station as this part is fully completed and the signage to the bank is pretty simple. In the lower concourse simply walk past the main ticketing booths for GO tickets and you will see a makeshift hallway that leads you to platforms 24-27 and you will see the signs for the arena. It eventually leads you to the area that connects the Telus building to the arena's main indoor entrance

Agreed, you can go outside but if you want to get to Scotiabank strictly staying inside there’s like one (very small) path you have to find, because theres a large section of union that is under construction.

I always just exited union station (after parking at Brookfield Place) at Bay St, walk outside for 10 seconds and then into the covered go-train tunnel and then outside again for another 10 seconds into the main lobby area. Much simpler and not too cold.

Found this video of a way going through the Via route

It's such an ugly path from Union to the ACC(I still call it that). They need to hurry up and finish construction already. It's part of a larger tourist area, so everything should make a good impression.
