I bet they'd accept. We might win that trade money wise and talent wise...but can you do that after what he did in the finals? would be hard

But I also understand fred was bad all year and all time horrible at the beginning of the playoffs. he is streaky. selling high might not be the worst thing to do

my dream is RJ Barrett. If Kawhi leaves an RJ and Pascal future would be fun. They both play really hard

Turn FVV into the 6th pick then flip the 6th pick, OG and a future 1st for the 3rd?

More than RJ Barrett, I think Nickeil Alexander-Walke would be a nice player, who is very similar to Delon Wright (not as quick?), but a sharp shooter. Brandon Clarke is another Canadian ranked in the lottery.

As for 59, I think a backup PF would be nice, even we have Boucher.
Other Canadian option at 59th in Andrew Nembhard, and personally think O’Shae Brissett has the size to fill the wing as well.

Chances are, with Masai at the helm, the 59th pick will be a serviceable player at worst -- with a hall of fame ceiling. ****! Masai is awesome. I want to give birth to his kids, even though I'm a male. Dude is awesome. He'll turn the 59th pick into gold.

I'm being totally serious here. I expect Masai to draft somebody out of Africa, or with African heritage/ties. Somebody who he has uniquely had his eyes on or has scouted as a Caboclo/Siakam type long shot, high potential type player. Parlay the work he has done in Africa into a lottery ticket for the Raptors.

Anybody have a pool of draftees that might fit this bill?

If there's one thing we absolutely know about Masai, it's that he is not sentimental about anyone to the point of putting them above improving the team. If the right trade is there, anyone can be traded on this team. Kawhi included.

Unless they dominate. Siakam being picked in the first round gave us a whole extra year before he needs to be paid.
