Yep. Raps were 23-7 (77% win percentage) with him during the regular season. We wouldn't have gotten the #2 overall seed and home-court advantage in the Finals without him. (I can't say the same for Miles and Wright bc JV was definitely way more impactful to that winning record than those 2 were)

He'll come back after 3 seasons when he'll be 30. 8-)

If Draymond didn't injure JV early in the year, does JV still get traded for Marc

Let's be honest, we wouldnt have Gasol if he was traded for Drummond. Masai the snake got lucky like how he got lucky with not being able to trade Lowry. Then he had the nerve to say JV is better than Drummond face to face. #MasaiTheSnake

Anyone who got traded after the season started legit deserve a ring imo. Esp guys like JV who get moved at the deadline. They were part of the team, they laid the blocks down with everyone else.

Raps will 100% offer him and everyone else one.

Demar and casey won't be getting rings. They were traded prior to the season. Only the players we traded to Memphis will be getting em so JV, delon and cj.

JV's awesome... Hope he gets a ring... Think all players on the roster at one point or another this past season receive a ring?

The way the league is if your a bigman you have to be able to guard 1-5 and JV couldn't do it. They wanted Marc Gasol for awhile for that reason. If it was 20 years ago JV would be a top player in this league. His numbers are silly but the new NBA isn't for him and Boogie.

No kidding I miss JV. Fully accept his flaws, and know Gasol was needed to do what was just done, but man I miss him on this team. Might be the most lovable flawed Rap since JYD was with the team 15-ish years ago.

I would looooooove to have seen JV a part of the championship team, and in particular during the parade. He woulda had so much fun, man.
Good Lord, the little stoner's got a point.

Damn. JV I like as an interview, but as a player? There's no title with him in Gasol's spot. Plus we got to SEE what JV was like in Wasaga through Gasol's parade shenanigans.

JV will always be a Raptor. Can't say the same for many former players.
