I would say yes immediately if he was 23 yo but he's 26. he doesn't have hops and I think the team who's going to give him the big contract is going to regret it big time. he's going to continuously force bad plays and play selfishly - esp with a big contract. If I was Masai, FVV has taken too lightly on what reign Nurse gives him. Its too late for Nurse to 'control' him now.

Anything more than 15M/year and it's going to be an instant regret. You've already seen the very best version of him. His game is not going to age well.

I think even 4 years/80 mill is a huge risk. This team needs to get rid of guards who get absolutely demolished in the half-court setting. He has little to none dribble penetration, and his shot-creation is awful. We've had so many offensive lapses because of this. Lowry also sucks overall in this regard, but he's 10x the player FVV is. We need to package FVV for a better guard

and be stuck with a mediocre PG with no upside - you saw him play - dude has super tunnel vision - armed with a big salary for the next 4 years? na. I would DEFINITELY try to sign and trade him though. any team that is over the cap right now and need a PG, Masai should investigate immediately.

I love FVV at under $20/year. Same for Serge and move from Marc. PS was a bad overpay but I was one of few saying that last year. We certainly should not be paying him Tatum or Brown money since they will just take PS lunch money.
