There’s no reason to eat there. They already fleeced you for tickets no reason to also allow them to charge you 13 bucks for a hot dog. There plenty of much more reasonably priced and better food within walking distance of the arena.

I've had a decent grill cheese there once. Some really off-brand thing. The key is to look around and if you can avoid it don't look at the price when you tap your card.

Schwarmas make a lot of sense as a takeout business model. It's quickly served yet still fresh.

My go to joints for it in scarborough are johnnys at kennedy/ellesmere and shawarma empire on lawrence.

Johnnys has amazing pickled beats that are delicious. Empire has caramelized-onion flavored steamed rice. I wish i could frankenstien them together.

Real talk.

Tap the card, take your food and keep it moving.

Then review your online statement the next morning and wallow in your own regret at the sheer dollar amounts spent on drinks and food at the ACC.

The News Burger at the Orville Acres Arena in Pinawa, Manitoba is to die for. Shout-out to the Pinawa Panthers!

But as far as Scotiabank Arena - I agree with the consensus of eating elsewhere before you get there...

I stuff my jacket with a nice juicy hot dog from the stand outside the arena.

It tastes better when it doesn't cost 3x more than inside.

That sandwich is on point and huge. Pause.

Plus, the wings there are damn good as well. They include the tips on the wings too.

Used to work there and they make a lot of the food hours before the game starts, really can't recommend eating there at all...
