I know it was garbage time but Scottie just looks more alive and more energetic when we give him the ball and let him try to break down the defense. He was getting to the rim and drawing fouls in the late fourth there when he didn't have to defer to the vets. Its really frustrating to see him get iced out by chuckers like Gary Trent JR.

I never thought I'd say this but for the sake of Scottie's development, we need to move him to the bench so he can be our primary facilitator in our 2nd unit. We have enough of a sample size to see that Pascal and FVV have no intention to let Scottie playmake and just defer him to becoming a screener and dribble hand off man. A huge waste of his development time and potential.
We really saw Scottie's energy and confidence explode in the 2nd half, especially the 4th in garbage time where he was assertive. He looked lost on defense in the 1st half and became a passive floater on the offensive end. It was good to see that change in the 2nd half.

Nurse's system is just garbage to watch at this point. Not sure what we are trying to achieve defensively or offensively. Same story every game both on defense and offense except for teams that struggles to shoot open 3s against us.

Against competent defenses you can kind of see our offense exposed as really one dimensional and the opposite of dynamic. On the other end, just like Ingles did last week Draymond had a field day shifting around our over reactive defense. I can't get over how bad our defense is right now. Nurse needs to switch up our defensive game plan and end the pointless double teams. We double teamed Draymond a few times at the 3 point line ffs.

Gary Trent Jr might be my least favourite player on the team. He just plays such an annoying brand of basketball. He's only able to look for his own shot. He's made like 3 swing passes the entire season. He is either unable or unwilling to playmake for others. He's the type of player you would absolutely hate playing with. All me and no we.
