I think the most shocking thing of all this is how low their expectations are. Shouldn't they have title aspirations? Why are they bragging about beating a team they are supposed to beat?

Honestly, I think they are triggered by the constant, familiar, and usual "Raps in 4" type of posts and because game 1 was heated in terms of injuries, pushing and shoving.

Someone needs to sit them down and tell them that Raps in 4 is a running joke on the board. Opposing fans used to say it when we were bad and now I guess it triggers some because we're better now lol?

Close to 3/4 of the Philadelphia population is obese. They have one of the highest addiction rates to tobacco in America. Oh and they also have a statue of a fictional boxer as one of their iconic monuments. That city is a literal dumpster fire. It's no wonder the people living their are nasty and miserable. We broke them completely after the playoffs a few years ago and they're still recovering. Even if they beat us it won't help them overcome their mental agony unless they beat us in similar heartbreaking fashion and/or if they win a championship. Their happiness will be short lived thanks to an early exit yet again most likely anyway, so let them relish this little win as it's the only happiness they'll have for awhile.

.. I was pissed and overreacted. Wished karma would bite Embiid in the ass for what I view as a at best reckless(and.. arguably dirty) play.

Even if they get past us, their dream of making it to the Finals, let alone the ECF will be close to impossible. I don't see them getting past any of the top 3 EC teams.
The Process will fail and they fear if they don't win it all this season, the process will have have to be Ctrl + F4, leaving their franchise in shambles. Meanwhile, we have one of the brightest futures in the entire NBA.
