Has to be a killer deal. If Goldenstate gives us all their young guns i'd do it like Kuminga, Wiseman Moody and poole

I think Pascal Siakam potentially could be available for the right trade.

Siakam is a solid number 2 to have next to a superstar. IMO you trade the depth pieces to be top-heavy rather than shuffle your franchise players.

"Potentially could be"

Nice.

The Pascal to Scottie transition is going to be similar to the Danny Granger to Paul George transition that Indiana did. I no longer support trading Siakam unless its an offer we can’t refuse. He would be great as a #2 or 3.

Stein and Windhorst went from being some of the best in the biz to being rumor spreaders

Pascal for Rudy Gobert lol. Sounds like we’d be helping Utah become contenders.

I would sell high on Siakam right now if it means us getting back something great....Even If it was for a Donovan Mitchell i would prolly do it...Siakams value is at its highest its ever going to be right now and if you can get something back that makes sense to pair with Barnes long term you do it....Siakam for how great as he is will always be the number 2/3 best player on a championship team...

Will be interesting to see some of the offers though

Didn't windy break the Harden Simmons trade first and Woj denied it? Where there is smoke there is fire most likely. Not saying it could happen but i'm sure they had some talks

if Utah is also giving us 4 FRP (2022, 2024, 2026, 2028) and Gobert... I would do that trade.

I don't mind this. His value is high again. I was turning on him when he played bad and was hoping he'd be traded I'll admit, but I gladly ate crow for that. He is a stud. If we trade him, it will be a Kawhi level trade now. Great position to be in, glad the league knows.

Windhorst's opinion is worthless.

What's worse is I think he intentionally uses language that obfuscates what he knows vs. what he's speculating, as he did with Maxey rumors (i.e. implying the Sixers would part with him last year and that they wouldn't recently).

I've got no time for this guy.

Remember when Woj was talking for weeks about Kawhi leaving Toronto for the Clippers and this whole board went after him saying he was a clown and didn't know what he was talking about/working for the Clippers management under balmers payroll lmaoo...Turns out he does know what hes talking about and is just more on the inside then anyone from this board....So i would take the words of a credible reporter whos more on the inside and prolly heard about discussions surrounding Siakam...

Don't go attacking reporters saying they know nothing when in fact they know more then any of us...Not saying Siakam will be traded but it sure is a possibility....And it could happen this offseason considering our timeline/rebuilding

But here he's not reporting smoke or fire, he's not reporting at all. He's just speculating.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

Need to get rid of the injury prone dwarf w/ the massive ego due to for an upcoming extension (along with Gary), Siakam fits very well with Scottie, OG and Precious.

So what would a Siakam to the Hawks deal look like?

Something like Hunter, Okongwu and Bogdanovic (or Gallinari) for Siakam? Maybe picks involved. Seems a little steep for them, but they're the ones chasing and we have the leverage and there's a better than 50% chance nobody in the deal ever gets better than Siakam is now.

I could see us liking Hunter, and I'd be surprised if we don't like Okongwu.

Eh, I don't love it as Hunter's injury issues scare me and Siakam I think can keep improving. Love Okongwu as our center, though, if we think Precious can shoot enough to play the 4.
Where's the D?
