it's great that we traded away the best weapon against those elite defense in OG.

Blame management for their reactive style. OG/Scottie should have been the core early in 21/22 season. Sell the other pieces. Now you have the tall task of replacing him somehow.

We've traded away some picks, but imagine having the chance to draft Luka Doncic but throwing it away to get Trae Young and Cam Reddish.

I think the scoring efficiency is worth lauding, but I am in agreement that scoring (and overall stat inflation) has gotten out of hand. Not even being an "old head" (which I'm not), but we need to bring defense back in a serious way. It's just a diminishing return on the scoring front. Two 70+ scoring games in a week and four total 60+ scoring games and counting this season is just ridiculous. I'm sure it's viral as hell, but it doesn't feel right.

OG and Siakam both looking great on their new teams. VanVleet also has been a pretty solid fit in Houston.

Makes you realize how important roster balance, fit and overall team culture is....these are aspects of the game most fans overlook.

more like throwing away a chance at Luka because your front office thought Malcom Brogdan + Paul Milsap dual deserves a chance at a playoff run.

It’s a bit ironic how the two players who got the most blame were actually the two players holding the team together. lol.

Casual ball fans love the players with the least amount of on-court responsibility.

And what is even more important is great coaching(maximizing the talent)

OG alone is not just making the Knicks better defensively; Thibodeau is the mastermind

Our culture was fine
48-34 with OG missing almost half of that season(31-17 with OG/1stE .655), Pascal's shoulder and without a center
41-41 (27-14@home/5th best) despite injuries left&right and conflicts..15 - 11 with a center

We would be having a different conversation had Udoka been our head coach.

Randle took a bad fall.

Was holding his chest, couldn't even take the FTS, headed straight to the locker.

I don’t care what numbers Embiid puts up this year, he better not be voted MVP again. Another season where Embiid has refused to play against Jokic in Denver.

Embiid is such a coward, and he is the main reason the Sixers will never make it to even a conference finals.

embiid running from the grind again.

silver should be ashamed at the state of this product right now.

these guys running up video game statlines on tanking teams playing no defense but they'll sit out competitive games at the first sign of 'injury'.

imagine mike or any of the stars from previous gens just sitting out a nationally televised game against a rival right before tip?

awful crap.

embiid is 100% playing if it was the raptors and not Jokic/Denver
