Maybe I am alone here - but the risk of the Pacers pick ending up top 3 in the lottery is to big for me to want the Pacers pick to be 14 instead of 17. Would rather they just stay as the worst playoff team.

I am kind of talking out of my butt here but the chances of the Pacers pick moving into the top 3 would be less then 5% for sure and probably closer to 3%. I understand what you are saying though.

I believe I'm right about that because they wouldn't be able to promise a 2025 and 2026 FRP. I think this year it would become a 2024 2nd and a 2025 2nd. I'm just not sure which 2024 2nd it would be.

Thanks. It's so complicated. I see now that it's what Fanspo has on their site, but on Tankathon, Indiana isn't even listed as having their own or Utah's 2nd rounder, but I guess that's because some of those incoming ones are also contingent on "least favourable/most favourable" trade clauses.

So I guess it would basically be the Cleveland pick. The chances are miniscule, but I was just curious.
