I think you got to see which picks they are.

Two of them could be the 2025 picks their own and Denver’s. If they feel the team is trending up that means they are giving up their 2027 and 2029. Considering the youth of the team it’s not that much risk.

Bane is super underrated. You don’t get many 2 way players that can put up 20-5-5. He is like the SG version of Brunson. If Suggs is healthy that is a pretty deadly backcourt.

20 ppg guys that can also play hard defense are rare and that’s the going price for them.

Watch Memphis now be in play for KD.

I like this for orlando. A ton of shooting and defense on that team. I know hoarding picks is the popular thing to do but with the conference wide open i dont blame orlando for doing it

2026 phx pick that washington and then orlando has swap options on (so second best of wash, phx, orlando picks if my understanding is right)
2028 and 30 unprotected

An insane overpay for Banes. Does this make the Magic "better" than the Pacers next year? I don't think so, but it'll be interesting to see how the East shakes up by draft day.

The Magic found the guy to be their 3-ball outlet next to Paolo/Franz without compromising their defense. The price given up seems high but what Bane brings as a skillset in terms of high-end 3+D (and bane as a scorer is more than just a shooter) isn't easy to find so it'll require something of an overpay like a stretch big in Turner that can actually defend too.

That's a pretty young team too so nothing wrong with getting a core together and letting them grow together.

Pacers, Cavs, Knicks, and Magic all firmly a tier above this Raptors team. Celtics, Pistons, and Bucks with Giannis are all likely above the Raptors too.

Superstar Scottie will have to shock the world or things will change after next season.

I wouldn't put the magic there yet with that core. They're more on the pistons level.
