We demand a new poll that includes RJ.

Jokes aside, it comes down to how much better Dick gets this year. He has the most upside offensively, but he has to be an impact player now.

They have a season to prove their worth, and most likely the one that plays the best, enhances their value the most, could be the one getting moved.

Walter showed flashes of being better than both. I'd move Gradey ASAP before his perceived value drops further.

Move him for Kessler.

What a disingeous poll. The answer is RJ.

Least fitting and the most expensive contract out of the 4.

3 more years on his rookie deal and he flashed some two way potential.

I am not sure if this is who we think SHOULD be or WILL be........but in terms of who I think should be........it's definitely GD. I want 2 way players on this team.

Fitting isn't just about 3 pt shooting, Darko's offense wants players who can dribble drive and pass. RJ is one of the few perimeter guys on the team that can create (IQ and Scottie the other 2) and he's actually the best of the bunch at it getting to the basket. When the Raptors make the playoffs and RJ is a key factor at creating his value will skyrocket and will become a positive asset.
Ochai being a standstill 3pt shooter who can't dribble or pass is actually the worst fit.

I voted Gradey, but it's still possible that he ends up the best player of the bunch. It will be interesting to see what he looks like this year with a tighter leash now that we are trying to win.

JKW seems to have decent upside and a decent shot at reaching it, but I'm not sure what the final product will look like.

Ochai is high floor, low ceiling, and probably the best fit for a team trying to win games right now.

Out of these 3 I'd say Ochai but Gradey is risky. I would trade whoever gets you a better deal out of those 2. Walter should be safe

Ochai is the best out of the group right now and its not even close. That doesnt mean Walter/Gradey couldn't come back drastically improved from the offseason since they are probably at the start of their largest growing curve.

Competition is a good thing because we've been handing out minutes to undeserving players since 2021 due to a lack of depth.

Guys like Gradey grow on trees.

He’s just a 3pt specialist at the moment and he hasn’t shown any defensive flashes.

I’m rooting for Gradey but both Ochai and Walter have shown flashes of a more well-rounded game

For the wing positions, I think our depth chart starts out like this

Ingram / Dick / Battle
Barrett / Agbaji / Walter

This means that of the options in the poll, Walter is currently the odd man out. Ochai was much better than Dick or Walter last year, and if the team is trying to win, he should start the season in our rotation. Dick is a year older than Walter, has more NBA experience, and is coming off a season where he was in the starting lineup in every game that he played. I don't think Gradey is getting completely dropped out of the rotation right away, so he'd be the 4th guy. That leaves Walter and Battle on the third string when everyone is healthy.

Long term is a different question entirely, and that would depend on how everyone plays this year and what trades end up happening.

I dunno if Ochai's value is high around the league or just this board that overrates him.

I would sell high and not risk it with a long term contract with him. You wont get anything for Walter right now.
