If RJ comes back, MAYBE, we would lose by single digits

They'd be a lot better with prime Westbrook. He wasn't much better a scorer, but he was far better at gaining the paint and creating shots for others. Tonight, he had more turnovers than assists, though he WAS still carving us up inside. His issue was he took 8 threes and only made 2, which is also a fairly classic Westbrook move, but without all the shot creation.

He tends to do that around this time of year the past two years. But this year he hasn’t had the middle of his season interrupted by injury like he has in previous seasons. Hopefully it stays that way.

2nd-worst offense in the league, 4th-worst defense. 12 wins. They aren't good at all, which is why that first half was so frustrating and scary.

And amid a rough overall performance, Gradey was 4/6 inside the arc and had some nice action in transition.

Crazy that some think Barnes hasn't improved because his PPG is similar to the last 2 years.

Can we give Mamu the chain? Or should it go to the kings team for how bad they are?

His production on the season has been very interesting. He's getting into the RA a lot more than usual, and shooting better inside the arc overall as a result. Looks intermittently more aggressive than we've generally seen him, and that's also encouraging. He's never gonna be that pedal-to-the-floor guy all game, but we've seen him receptive to Darko and turning it on a bit more, which is good.

He's having a fantastic season.

If not for Harden going nuclear and the refs giving LAL the game on Sunday, we’d be riding a significant hot streak.

Awesome second half from Barnes. He was sorta just there in the first half, but really came out with an attacking mentality in the 3rd which along with the great defence sparked a huge run.

He needs to figure it out above the break so badly, for sure.

He had a couple of "YEAH, SCOTTIE!" plays in the second half. That rebound at the end (blew the putback, but still), that nice lob to Ochai, and a couple of REALLY aggressive drives to the basket that I loved to see. He got one from the nail where he just ripped through and gave it. I actually stood up off my couch for that one, it was awesome.

Looks like the best option at this point unless it's against a backcourt with real size that know how to use it. Then small guards lineup will be cooked.

Jack on the broadcast mentioned that size doesn’t matter these days as long as you outscore the other backcourt

He's having a fantastic season.

The willingness to drive over and over and actually get deep into the paint the last three weeks has been a revelation. His handle has improved and he’s using the rip through and step through more effectively while mixing in a pull up elbow jumper and a turnaround. He’s developing some stuff.

He'll never be a go to scorer but the only reason his ppg isn't higher is because he barely averages 4 fta a game.
He's definitely more efficient this year and that's the most important part

We lost both because we had no centre. We were playing ok with the lakers before cmb went down

yeah his rim pressure was special, still impacted winning despite the below average efficiency on high volume during his prime
