I was just thinking, wouldnt it actually make sense to hire a european coach. I mean, we have all these european players, so wouldnt a european coach be best suited to coach these guys? maybe thats the problem

you might want to pause your racist spoutings to check reality once in a while

Before colangelo:
2002-2003 24-58
2003-2004 33-49
2004-2005 33-49
2005-2006 27-55

.356

after colangelo:
2006-2007 47-35
2007-2008 41-41

.536

notice any difference?

I didn't think he wanted a coaching job. If he was really available, Milwaukee and Chicago would have interviewed him.

Why aren't all the Euroleague fans, who are pushing for Messina and/or Obradovic b/c they're authoritarians, disciplinarians, controlling, etc not pushing for Rick Carlisle?

He's basically a defensive minded coach who micro manages his players, and has a track record in the league.

Sure he has a shelf life, but so what? This is a salary cap era, coaches have become disposable.
Bargnani PER
2007 - 12.9
2008 - 10.7
Hollinger predicted 2009 - 11.8
Bryans_Collar HOPES FOR 2009 - 17.0

Or he was waiting for a coaching job that suits him. With solid pieces already there and not a total rebuilding team.
