My friend got his today - and it came with a....not a bag, not a watch, not even a basketball, but large black vinyl tarp with a raptors logo on it. It is so big and strange that can't figure out what it is....it even has fitted corners, like it goes on your bbq or something, but it's much too big. Maybe it's a cover for a car...or something...

PS Vince Carter is featured on the Nov 22 Magic game tickets (Turks on the other date). TMac makes the Rockets game, Mopete for the Hornets game, JYD for the Pistons in Dec, Bonner for the Spurs, Damon for the Bucks, Alvin for the Blazers (not that he had much of a career while he was there), Oak for the Hawks game, Camby for the Clippers and finally Antonio ("I don't want my children becoming too Canadian") Davis for the Bulls game.

Good looking season ticket stock this year.

Interesting - seems like they are sending out multiple gifts this year.

what was the other gift?

Edit: Sorry, didn't see your earlier post, they sent digital frames. My boy is on the phone with the Raptors now trying to figure what the deal is.

I'd trade you for the digital frame...I could actually use the BBQ cover (what a odd gift on a side note).

The BBQ cover idea is odd because 1) not everyone has the same size bqq and (2) I'm guessing not everyone in the city has a balcony for a bbq with their condo.

ya, I just got mine. Hate the Vince ticket. The barb-e cover is just weird and not exciting at all. So last year we get a really nice duffel bag and a signed ball (not really signed, but printed on) and this year it's a piece of plastic trash that maybe 25% of people will use. Wow, thanks MLSE!

LOL at the gift... its reallly random.... and its something that rarely anyone will use.

Not sure what their thinking.... Like people dont have BBQ's with a cover already (if they even have one)???? ..... and you can't use it for anything else.

Just not a practical gift IMO

plus to put it in context, we go from a real signed bosh jersey (replica jersey), then duffel bag with printed signed ball, then a BBQ cover...huh?

MLSE is having a laugh @ our expense here.

Na, na, na, na ,na na!

I got a sweet looking digital photo frame. I thought they would have preloaded it with pictures of this years roster.

BBQ cover is crazy random.

You needed to be a SSH back in the early days when they sent you a gift every month begging you to stay.

I will gladly trade my BBQ cover for your (or anyone's) digital frame.

What a weird gift. Their marketing department needs to lay off the crack.

It took me a few minutes to guess what the hell it was. I came on here just to confirm that it is indeed a ... BBQ cover???

Um, someone should tell MLSE that winter's coming and we're not going to be barbequing too much longer.
