DD plays 24 minutes, Beli/Kleiza play 24

Sounds like a good use of $20M to me.

Lets clarify that, how many true SF's do we have right now? ONE and he doesn't even want to be here.

DD, Weems, Belli are all suited for the 2spot, we are paper thin at the three. Especially a 3's that have the size and grit to guard the bigger SF in the league.

Its about time you guys understand we live in Canada, a country where alot of American players would rather not play...

This is a hard reality that every GM lives with while here every single day..... While Bryan has brought in alot of Euro's he has also succeeded in brining in more Americans players that actually decided to want to be here than any other GM prior to him...

This is no small hurdle, its a big one. You have to learn to adjust or pack it up and move the team to the states....

lol... I honestly can't believe the mixed reactions on this forum....

The ignorance on this board is seriously ridiculous. We're getting a descent player at a reasonable price. What is the big problem here?

I like Kleiza. I definitely feel the Raptors need a tweener 3/4 off the bench. Kleiza's market value is definitely in this range. He's a Euro guy that I like for once on this team.

But like many of you, I just don't understand BC's vision and what direction we're going.

We are definitely the Euro Raptors. Signing American free agents will be difficult with the reputation the Raptors have. It sounds harsh, but that's the truth; that's reality.

If we're going this route. BC might as well go all out with his Euro vision and get QUALITY euro's.

I think BC is using the same mentality as for the draft in free agency. To obtain the BPA for the best value. In FA money comes in to play, so hes trying to get the best guys he can with the best price tag.

I remember watching Kleiza play once against the raptors when he was with Denver. He actually lit us up, but then again, who hasn't lit up the Raptors.

And your name explains nothing...whats your point. Explain to me how this signing makes any sense when we're trying to rebuild. If BC is going to sign anyone it needs to be a pg and try to get rid of Jose.

Kleiza signing makes sense to me he can help balance the roster and also become chummy with Bargnani. He hasn't really had anyone his age, aside from bellinelli, this could help with the chemistry.

Aside from the locker room stuff I think Kleiza is a pretty good player who is strong at the 3 he could be a useful piece off the bench with or without Hedo

IF it makes you feel any better, Kleiza is 25 (Just consider him as a Senior from High School) who is a late bloomer :lol:

Funniest part is had we made this signing last season, instead of going for Turk, this board would have loved it. I recall numerous post supporting trying to sign players like Kleiza and Barnes.

I also wonder had we signed Kleiza last season instead of Turk, had him starting for us, were we would be right now. I think we would have made the playoffs and Bosh might still be with us. We would also have alot more cap space to play with.

thats whats people said about Calderon, Hedo, belinelli do you see where am going with this a lot of you must not get it if this euro thing worked more people would be doing it.
