Fredette is ridiculous. He reminds me of Curry.

Agreed. He gobbles up boards with those huge hands and has great control of the ball in transition. I'm impressed with his strength/speed combo and his passing looks crisp. He & Jimmer will create a lot of buzz over the next month. I'm happy the games will be on TV because I haven't had a chance to watch Leonard much. Definitely impressed with how he's looked today.

I hate to be on this guys balls.. but if you take into perspective what Fredette is doing ... I mean he looks like a chucker just taking ridiculous ME-first shots...but its like these are good shots for him and he doesnt miss. It seems every shot he takes is a heat check .. where your just like yeah no way thats going in, and then bang.

This guy is unreal.

Leonard with our pick!

Just playin', but I wish we got him. Unlikely now with JJ.

If it's a position based on need, SF may still be our greatest need though. Then PG and SG. Centers this year are not that great.

The thing about it is - James Johnson is just as impressive physically as Leonard is. They both rebounded the ball well in college, and they both seem to be good defenders as well.

Leonard, though, is relentless in his pursuit of the ball. Johnson, in the two games I've seen of him with the Raps...he flies around the court, but he doesn't seem to be as impactful as Leonard could be. But, again a very small sample size to evaluate Johnson.

Jimmer is a freak. If we didn't need a superstar player badly I'd be very interested in him. You can't teach the things he can do to put the ball in the hoop. I don't envision him becoming an NBA star but he'll definitely help the team he ends up with.

Fredette rarely looks to pass when he drives the ball.

I was watching more of the Jonnies-Nova game, and only caught the last few minutes of the half - Fredette looked really shaky - (should have passed off at the end) -- I am sure he played much better in the part I did not see.

He's got a problem with turnovers. I believe he had 13 TO's in his last 2 games.

I guess to be expected, considering how much he has the ball in his hands.

Needs to look to pass - Emery and Davies are nice options to go to.

He had a really bad stretch to end the half. Missed a 28+ft shot early in the shot clock, committed a foul, turned the ball over and then missed a buzzer beater. Otherwise he looked good. No doubt he's looking to come out and put in work in the second half. He has never played with someone of his caliber on offense so it's understandable that he'll have to work on passing. Most people were expecting SDSU to win this game so it should be a great 2nd half.

SJU is looking great this year. No great prospects but a team that plays hard.

Coast-to-coast after flying in for a rebound, his 11th, and laying it in at the other end.
