That coast to coast drive and layup is going on the DX video archive- book it. It looked really good.

Perry Jones is listed at 6'11", 235. I think it's probably right. Maybe he's 7'0" now.

He's playing really hard too. Wonder if it's just because it's his first game back. Hopefully he can keep this up

Nice mid ranger by PJ there. He's looking far more complete in this game than I saw from any other game of his last year. I really liked how he took that extra dribble, jab step and then a nice high release on the jumper.

I also really like his overall intensity. Last year he got so passive and he's really engaged into this game.

if he keeps it up like that all season.., and showing he has SF ability, damn that'd be a top 5 talent, idc about him not liking to cross the border, we'll threaten him to cross over here lol

Perry Jones could have been the #1 pick in last year's draft based on talent. The problem was that he floated all season and didn't show the skills that everyone thought he had. He needs to show some defensive intensity, rebounding and ball handling. The lack of intensity and rebounding is the big thing with him, not talent.

well yea he even has superstar potential too based on talent and physique alone. Even right now I see him being aggressive on scoring but rebounding wise...um....maybe its the 1st game? cos he definitely can get 10 reb easily using his length.

I think he's rebounding just fine. There weren't too many opportunities to grab rebounds with Prairie turning the ball over every possession.

He only has 1 of his teams 14 defensive rebounds. For a guy who's by far the longest and most talented player out there he continues to have a low rebound rate. He's still having his best game ever out there so I'm not trying to be too critical.

A good rebounder like John Henson averages 20-25% of his teams rebounds.

I don't recall him giving up a single offensive rebound. That's good enough for me for now considering he rebounded pretty well last season.
