Although the sad thing is that if Lowry never became that good in the first place, Masai probably rebuilds midway through last season and we're not in this same predicament now. Lowry turning into an All-Star potentially cost this franchise a lot.

What really killed it was when the trade fell through, the team goes on the road against the Lakers and win. They reel off a few more wins to get close to .500. And Masai says, F it I'll give you guys a chance do your worst. And they proceed to go on in improbable run way above their talent level. It's his fault for being so passive, too nice, wanting to give these guys a chance. Two years potentially wasted. But hey, good for MLSE's bottom line. I could care less about that though as a fan.

Hindsight is 20/20. Seeing a winning Raptors team was rare. At least he didn't do any dumb trades/signings. Lowry disappointed hard in the new year but he was playing so amazing that I need time to understand wtf happened to him. My biggest gripe with Masai was giving Casey a new contract. Hope this summer Masai does the right moves

Ticket holders get a free watermelon slice courtesy of MLSE if the Raptors contain the opposing team to less than 120 points.

Not that I think he'll do it, but Masai could even get away with a full rebuild now. He absolutely should.

Do people really want this core/coach around next season? I mean, I was worried the Raptors might push this series to a 5/6 game series and make an argument for that; but to come out the way they did, you can't realistic think this core has 'it'.

Its one thing to lose, but it is another thing to lose ugly. Look at the Pelicans and Celtics - they did not go down without a fight.

THANK YOU.

I've been saying it since it was unveiled. Everyone sees a Brooklyn knockoff but all I see is watermelon.
