Warriors just stylin on Grizzlies. My goodness. What a beatdown.
I have to admit something, I picked KD over Steph with my 2nd overall pick in fantasy basketball. SMFH.

I honestly can't believe it. He was absolutely atrocious his last season here.
In his first year with the Raps, he got a ton of open looks, set shots and he was deadly. Last year it was like the league figured this out and made him shoot off the dribble. Not so deadly at that play.

Every team needs to just wave the white flag when facing the warriors.
**** it just end the season and hand them the Trophy now. No one has a chance

Warriors are great but..what happened to the Grizzlies?
They've had a few rough looking games now.

Gasol and Randolph are a year older and are less capable of carrying the offense. Gasol stepped up last year on offense, had a couple of 30 point games early on, but it wasn't sustainable. Their management needed to find a wing scorer for them, and they did, nothing.

Who could they have gotten though? I guess a guy like Wes Mathews would make em a little better. Still, they shouldn't be this bad.

I don't know who they could have gotten, all I know is they should have gotten someone. Not just in free agency, but trying to make moves for one. They seemed content with Jeff Green and gave up looking for a wing scorer after that.

This is a great article for those interested in learning more about plays.
This passage stuck out to me the most:
This is exactly why it's important Jonas learns how to pass better, so that when he does get the ball it keeps the defense guessing, and it makes him an even more effective scorer in the post than he already is.

This passage stuck out to me the most:
Just as a general principle, when different plays develop out of the same formation, the defense will be slower to react than if they know exactly what play is coming. Contrast: Lebron James in the Finals with his predictable isolation plays.

Warriors have been running the Spurs Motion offense since the Mark Jackson era. One thing I love about them is that they use Steph and Klay as screeners for their bigs. Defenses can never help/cheat off of them or else it's an open jumper yet defenses continuously do that.
Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?" - Jesus Shuttlesworth

Re: General NBA Discussion Thread
Has anyone else noticed that Klay hasn't seemed to recover from his terrible playoff showing?
He looks slow on D and is often being picked up by guys on the back end, his scoring is way down, 3point% is way down, and turnovers are up.

Random thought: I am really liking what we're seeing from Kristaps Porzingis so far. If he continues to work hard, he'll easily be able to become a good two way player. The potential is limitless.

The kid could very well make it but it's only been 3 games. They said the same about Andrea when he came second in ROY and our team took the Atlantic.
