Pelicans could just wait it out for a package from Boston. I thibk they would prefer Tatum and Brown and better picks over what we have which sucks. But if Davis because a major distraction and is forcing out by trade deadline we could be a real darkhorse

No chance we have the assets to compete for Davis. On the other hand, Randle, Jrue, Mirotic, Moore, etc should all be up for grabs. Pelicans are going to walk away from this thing with a boatload of future assets.

As soon as Davis signed with Rich Paul we knew what was happening lol, snake guy running the league behind closed doors. If Boston trades for him, he is still going to LA in a year.

Kawhi isn't on the Rose extension deal. Kawhi didn't extend and was re-signed during that offseason.

To further elaborate, Kawhi wasn't an all-star prior to the new contract - which was one of the requirements for the Rose extension rule
