Bro, that would be something we probably won’t be very good next season

This means Ujiri wasn't really trying to keep him and I have to wonder why because I see no viable replacement.

Wo1verine wrote:Yeah not sure why we care about cap space next year surely won’t be signing anyone when we can’t even keep Ibaka
We will be taking a step back so why would anyone meaningful like GA join us ? was never realistic.
Win a **** championship and players still don’t wanna be here ducking joke

U sound like a bird bruh
Lol

Oh FTSOF, take a deep breath and get over yourself.
Ibaka was a solid centre, but he's not the difference between a playoff team and a 'we need to tear it down' Not even remotely close.
Plus, we were only expecting to keep him for one more year. This isn't a long term loss.
*sigh* Raptors' board gonna Raptors' board. Everything has to be all or nothing.

oh he's ready to take flight alright
nabbs wrote:I am pretty shocked he left but based off the contract, either the Raps lowballed which I doubt or he wanted to ring chase. He also really got a long with Kawhi

Realistically we aren’t contenders anymore so it makes complete sense to me that Ibaka would go. The Kawhi decision never will though.
