i don't know that we actually NEED to trade him.
but i think we should certainly listen to offers.

That is simply not true... Have you seen his splits?
Dec 2019: 36.2MPG, 25/6.9/2.9, 55% TS
Jan 2020: 30.8MPG, 20.8/6.5/2.9, 57% TS
Feb 2020: 35.6MPG, 23.1/7.2/3.6, 56.6% TS
Mar 2020: 39.6MPG, 23.2/7.6/5.2, 54.7% TS
That doesn't look like he was trending downwards at all, unless you consider PPG to be the only important metric.Pooh_Jeter wrote:He had a ton of cover the championship season. He was great against the Magic and Warriors and was awful against the 76ers and Bucks. He was a quasi #2 option that year, it wasn't exactly a Kobe and Shaq situation.
Who said it was a Kobe and Shaq situation? The point is he's proven himself as a 3rd option on a championship team. That's what the Bucks are asking Middleton/Holiday to be this year and they are both older and paid nearly the same. Some Raptors fans have a ridiculous expectation that Siakam needs to be better than that or shipped out.
GTFOH. So he put up consistently improving numbers, and saw a leap in play making over 3 months that few people experience in a career, let alone in a season, made the all star team, and was selected 2nd team all NBA. So what? Everyone does that, the guy is trash.

The worst part of what has changed in his game is his three point shooting. That comes around again next year, after a summer of work, and the rest becomes easier.
And catch and shoot when you are standing in the corner is far different than shoot if the dribble and pnr, or shooting from the elbow. And the raptors and him need to talk about which shots from where he should be working on.

Look at his double dribble against the Knicks. Explain to me how that has anything to do with him being the first option on your team.
Your worst player on the court shouldn’t turn the ball over like that. He’s really just a dumb basketball player with little IQ. All he cares about his having fun, he says it all the time. Move on from him please

His play and his attitude are in steep decline.
I have a feeling he's going to ask for a trade which if I were the GM I'd happily accommodate.

It’s pretty simple . He was about to pass and it got cut off. I experience and going way too fast.
But sure... he was just trying to have fun on that play

Most players would have adapted, used a slow euro step to adjust, and find a floater or another pass opportunity rather then just put the ball back down on the floor.
That’s bit exactly what I said, listen to his interviews, he always blames his bad plays or bad games on him needing to get back to having fun. Rather then just saying he needs to improve his skills

Always? he sad it last year about the bubble. And he's talking about having fun playing not gong out and having fun with the boys or whatever. There is no always. You're stuck on something you shouldn't be.
As for the euro step part... kind of irrelevant to trying to pass in the break imo. It was a bad move and he just didn't look before he decided.
