I think in fairness to everyone, there was a lot that they could see in private workouts that this board and even a lot of draft pundits couldn’t see. He’s clearly put in some work since last year in college. His shot looks so much smoother and his handle is definitely better than it was a year ago.

He’s just not the same player right now that he was on tape last year. Some of that is the congestion of the college game, and you could see moments in his tape where he showed some of this stuff, but he’s improved a ton over the last year. I mean, he scored over 20 points like once last year. It’s not like he did this, no one watched it, and then we’re all shocked by how good he has been - he just wasn’t doing this last year.

I mean if you look at guys like Chad Ford (say what you want. He was high on Scottie) even they are surprised with how good he has been.

Lol i rememeber that moment. i let out a lil jon "WHAT". And then 30 seconds later a very meek "well ok". We have to stop fooling ourselves on prospects. People just talk themselves into being convinced of how clear amd obvious it all is thru reenforcement. It's groupthink.

Unless you are unemployed or spend all your off-hours from work watching 3 to 4 college games per day (not to mention international and even g league games)....you do not actually have an educated or valid opinion. You are just parroting the talking points of media pundits and they are clouded with all kinds of incentives and interests.

Highlight reels are probably more misleading than not watching anything lol.

So after a minute or two i said to myself "what do i know?" and accepted it.

The 60 players from each draft will probably collectively earn in excess of 1 billion dollars. And all of them have high powered agents vying for that billion who all have connections and relationships with everyone who writes, talks and tweets about the nba.

Yeah, there is no way he’s ever going back to a bench role. He’s a starter no doubt from this point forward.

It’s gonna be Achiuwa.

Hate to say, the Knicks are very tough and disciplined and have their game together. They handled the Bulls. The way we only won the last 2 by such close scores, Knicks are likely going to be an L

I think he'll play. Monday's game commemorates the 75th anniversary of the very first NBA game ever played. Was NY vs TOR. It's a big deal.

No, none of OG Pascal or Barnes should be stuck guarding big centers. Start Birch, let Trent come off the bench. I know that's tough because Trent has earned starting.

He’s in a contract year.

I hate it, but I could see them moving him and just giving his minutes to Achiuwa. I like that he’s Canadian and I think he’s actually playing a bit better than at the start of the season but someone is going to give him more money than we will after the season and it’s a business at the end of the day.

boucher been better than achiuwa... as bad as hes been... at least he blocks some shots and makes some 3s... achiuwa been boarding but has been a disaster on both ends...

For sure...Boucher is definitely getting the Norm Powell treatment some time this season. Boucher and Dragic should be renting...not buying at this point.

I’d like to see Precious develop the Ibaka high post jumper so he can set a screen at the 3 point line, hit the jumper or one dribble drive past the defender.
