houstan is the most overrated canadian prospect of all time
Even worse than Bennett. Bennett was actually a beast in college.

I think his game is more suited for the NBA than the college game. Like Franz

I wouldn't say that. But he's a prime candidate to fall ala BJ Boston/Skal .

Every draft has talent.
Exactly. It's like if there is no LeBron the draft is considered "weak". This draft looks fairly deep to me.

Then you have Watson, McGowen, Griffin, Brown, Dieng, Collins, Mathurin, Houstan, Keels, Jovic etc...seems like a complete fabrication imo.
Damn, you didn't even include Duren.

But he included Scoot Henderson who isn't even draft eligible (he would be #1). But I agree this class is getting undervalued at this point by some.

This draft might not have the big names such as Lebron and Carmelo in years gone by, but it is still a good draft. Hopefully, we can get another lucky bounce and draft in the top 4 again. Keep the losses coming, and the tank rolling.

Outside of the top 4, I like Keegan Murray and Nikola Jovic and big versatile forwards.
What about freshman Kendall Brown from Baylor (over senior Matthew Mayer)?
Nice passing! Almost an A/T of 2.
@1:05 dunk then get ALL the way back to block the fast break dunk attempt!

I don't think Keegan Murray is a lottery pick.

If we keep going at this rate, I wouldn't be surprised if MU pulls the plug before the deadline and trades Siakam. I just keep looking at the Cavs and their 2 cornerstones for the future were picked a 3 and 5. Right now we are at 9 and eventually Indiana should pass us. 8th seems realistic, maybe Sacramento passes us but I'm not sure yet. I have hope NO passes us with Zion back. But right now 8th looks realistic.
Bryce McGowens and Blake Wesley in that range interest me a lot.

I have 0 interest in SGs who's only skill is putting up buckets but is below average in everything else.
I want well rounded intelligent players that Raptors can develop their offensive skillset.

Welcome to Kendall Brown bandwagon train. Hop along and enjoy the ride!
He's currently player I want Raptors to draft the most because of his skillset, upside and realistic draft position of being outside top 5 and within lottery pick.

He's like a more athletic/physical Franz Wagner. More athletic/physical Delano Banton?
He seems to make quicker reads and passes than Siakam.

Re: Tank World Order (6.0)
Hardy is a good shooter with deep range. Its more a question of his scoring versatility. Judging from video, he's working on other facets of scoring.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Athletic, defends, playmaker and jumpshot improving while being a freshman! Those are interesting comparisons you made as well and I agree with them.

Athletically he looks like Jalen Johnson.

That seems to be the consensus among the experts. Maybe not 'really bad' but definitely underwhelming.
Same thing could be said about the talent level on our team.
What choice do we have?
We don't. Its a weak draft, just because the Raptors are gonna get a lotto pick in it we don't have to lie to ourselves.
It's OK tho we got the #4 pick in a stacked draft. Whoever we add from like the 7-10 range will be a solid starter to help Scottie in the future.
2023 tho? You got Wembanyama, Sharpe, and Bates, all hyped prospects.
