That's a horrible trade for us. Not expecting a kings ransom for GTJ but he's worth a hell a lot more than that. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the Warriors are in the mix for him at the deadline.

It's not too far off. I think Shamet, Crowder and a top 10 or lotto protected first is around fair value for Trent to the Suns. Crowder can also be re-routed for additional assets if we'd like.

Since when do 20 point 23 year olds grow on trees. Why would we be trading gtj for shamet and Jae Crowder? If we trading him I'd look to gstate for a Kuminga Wiseman package. I think wiseman sucks but he is a 21 year old 7'0 with big Time athletic ability. Maybe we can tune him. And Kuminga is also really raw but his ceiling could be real high.

His value is reduced due to his contract status. His comparable, whether you agree with it or not, will be Herro's extension (ie. 4/130). Does a team paying Trent Jr $30+ million a year sound like a contender? Probably not.

Okay but then what are we getting for Vanvleet?

Obviously made by a Raptors fan but interesting foundation of a trade.

NO has no reason to do that trade.

Correct. And although I don't think Kuminga and Wiseman are the greatest prospects, outside of their core, those guys are GSW's biggest trade chips. I can't see them being willing to move them for half a year of Trent. They're already deep in the tax as is without having to worry about re-upping Trent and have plenty of quality guards as it is.

NY could be a viable destination as well and I think a package including Quickley and/or Grimes could be nice. They have picks as well if we wanted to make something around those. But we'd have to be willing to take on some dead salary in order to make the numbers work, which I really don't want to do.

That trade is so lopsided in our favour it's laughable. They're giving up a 1st on top of it? Cmon...

Their team is loaded. They likely make a fringe move and that's it for this year and just do their best in playoffs.

I'd gladly do Fred for Graham, Daniels, and Murphy III (0 picks) but even that is likely too much value to get back for FVV.

Yeah I don’t see the Pelicans giving up Daniels for Fred although he’s exactly the type of long guard that Masai and Bobby covet. I could see Trey Murphy and a Milwaukee pick. I’d love to get Daniels, but Pelicans are going to hold onto him unless it’s for a bonified allstar. I could see a similar trade with substitute Gary Trent Jr for Murphy, Kira Lewis, Graham and a pick. GTJ seems like a really good fit with his shooting and shot creation and activity of defence. Hell I’d do the deal without Murphy if it came down to it.

Lol if the Pels are giving up Daniels and Murphy III, they better get OG, not Fred who can walk as FA. Already proven young commodities on rookie contracts.

If I'm trading OG to the kings I'm getting Murray/Mitchell and a pick. If I'm trading Siakam to the Girzzles I'm taking Jackson Jr. and picks. I'm not taking scraps and picks that probably won't be in the lottery.

Kings and Pelicans proposal look okay but I need one more prospect from the Kings to make it work.

With the Warriors, I would add Boucher and they add Wiseman. Wiseman, Kuminga, Moody with Barnes would be quite an interesting young core to watch.
