Tier 3 - Clear All-star potential, couple of elite skills
3. Edgecombe - pre injury Oladipo
4. Fears - Tony parker with kyrie handles
5. Bailey - MPJ with better defense

Tier 4 - Intriguing players, could develop into all-star
6. Kon Kneuppel - bigger/stronger Manu Ginobili
7. Derik Queen - more aggressive Boris Diaw
8. JRich - Derrick white
9. Tre Johnson - bigger Lou Will

Tier 5 - Riskier picks with upside
10. Kasparas - Smaller hedo Turkoglu
11. Egor Demin - Josh giddey
12. Rashard Fleming - PJ Washington
13. Carter Bryant - Robert Covington
14. Khaman Maluach - Mitchell Robinson

Unknowns with lottery pick potential: Essengue, Traore, Gonzalez, Yaxel, Penda, Saraf

Are you sure that's not a tier 1. Imo Tony parker with kyrie handles is way better than Lamar Odom with a knock down jump shot ;)

Ah, I guess he'll start next year and get into the lottery.

Stojakoic transferred to Illinois. Zvonimir should transfer there too.

Cooper is a slightly taller, more fluid Scottie Barnes with a better jumpshot, already.

I would offer Ochai Agbaji.

Really they should draft KM at #16. Trade Bitadze to Toronto for Ochai Agbaji.

If Im Orlando, im packaging 16/25 and trying to get into the top 10 to grab Fears or Jase. They really need a guard who can create some far more than a non-offensive big. That offense is disgusting to watch

Makes sense how Masai and Weltman have the same building model philosophy. Athletic, long guys are #1 target ... worry about offense later.

For there aspirations they need someone with more years under their belt that can win now. No rookie guard is going to add to winning unless they're Chris Paul

I agree your tiers, and many of your comps, but some of them are off.

Cooper is closer to Scottie Pippen than Lamar Odom (defensive presence)

Kon doesn’t have the onball skills of Manu. He’s closer to a Gordon Hayward mold

Queen is closer to Naz Reid / Zach Randolph
Bigger stronger manu is literally the best player in the league :) top 5 at least.

Is Ace in a different tier than Tre because he's like 3 inches taller? Tre does everything better than Ace otherwise...

I'd put Tre above Ace. People don't realize how good Tre is at catch and shoot, being a pick and roll ballhandler and in transition. He is way undervalued.

Goga is getting DNP'd in the playoffs.

Plus, we are a team that needs shooting and defense and Ochai supplies both.

From among the list of eligible players there are quite a few interesting prospects who could be available in the second round or perhaps even go undrafted...

John Blackwell
Rueben Chinyelu
Karter Knox
Toibu Lawal
Mackenzie Mgbako
Joson Sanon
Neoklis Avdalas
Mouhamed Faye
Bassala Bagayoko
Paul Mbiya
Ousame N'diaye
Raptors record prediction: 45-37 (6th place in the East)

Wouldn't surprise me if ORL tries to use those picks to nab one of Trae or Anfernee.

I have such little faith that our FO will seriously consider a PG but man I wish they would with Fears.

Assuming we don't jump into the top 4, I'm praying we take one of Queen or Fears....Maluach or Bryant are decent fallbacks for me (although if it was Bryant, I'd try some way to trade down). I'm not fully sold on Jase tbh, he doesn't have a great dribble with his right hand and I'd want a guard to have a fairly tight handle.

I know we don't wanna go off the deep end with comparisons but Fears' game really does have some SGA to it. Of course he's not the same level of defender and not quite as tall/long so he won't be quite as effective but the fact he has an amazing live dribble, a thousand counters and can get to whatever spot on the court he wants (all things SGA does, albeit on the highest level) -- he has a very high FT% so my guess is he will end up a 35+% three point shooter at some point. He could end up being deadly and of course I'm just not sold on IQ being a starter on a championship team with his lack of size. Not to mention then we'd have at least 2 players who can create their own shot which is basically a necessity for success in the Playoffs (also why I like Queen as well - Fears I just think is bit more of a "fun" pick where I can see him becoming one of the more popular young players in the league as he progresses). But I'd think of the two the FO would obv lean towards Queen for the easier "fit" into the lineup now and long term.

You watch the playoffs and it makes you realize how much being able to elevate in big moments is a big part of scouting. I want a guy in the top 10 who has had to be relied upon to make big plays.

Lot of guys start choking when the lights get big because they’re not used to pressure
